AES has been servicing two of my private loans (TERI loans).

I have been corresponding with them and paid my payments on time except one time it was ten days late. Since then, AES has been contacting third parties about me and asking information about my phone number and address update. AES does have my address and cell phone number already. I sent two letters asking AES to stop contacting third parties, but there are two people there Helms and Foltz, two salamanders are telling me that they will keep contacting third parties regardless of they have my address or not if the payment is late again. AES has destroyed my reputation and my friends are calling me and telling me why I did not pay my debt to AES, etc. It has been very embarrassing for me.

In addition, AES has reported 60 days lates (for a ten day late payment) for one account. For the other, AES has been reporting, settled account for less amount, and closed by creditor, etc., although I have been making payments regularly.

Where can I complain about this AES? I am going to write to FTC and State Attorney's office. Are there other places I can complain about AES? I am also thinking of suing AES, but I am not sure which law they are violating? I appreciate if you have any idea and share it with me as to where the good places are to send complain letters so that AES stops this disgusting harassment and destroying my credit reports.

Are your loans in default or good standing?? Are you making the full payment required>

AES is a servicer and considered the OC so they are not subject to FDCPA. Have you called and talked to a supervisor?? Mail has a habit of getting lost with large organizations such as this.

Thanks Lynn.

They are in good standing and I am making payments on time except for one time it was 10 days late. I called AES several times and talked to several people ther. it is very disorganized organization. One department does not know what other department does and internal departments are not communicating about what is going on about my account. I have talked to a supervisor last time who said everything was taken care of. Then I called after a month, nothing was taken care of. As a result, I started corresponding with this S. foltz character (supposed to be an assistant vice president) with certified letters (I could not get her phone number). In the last letter I received from her, she stated that AES will continue to contact third parties if payment is late or something.

So if it is a OC, what rights do I have against them? What about FCRA? Can AES report inaccurate information to CRAs and verifies it with CRA when you dispute it?

Lynn, since you know this S.L. servicing agencies, which federal departments and/or organizations are they are accountable?

Can you also request TERI organization to change the servicer? People in AES are really bad people based on my experience. they know you have no power against them, so they are willing to do anything. They have no ethics. Otherwise, they would not have contacted all those people because I was 10 days late and AES has had my address all the time.
