Deleting Lates from Citi

I'm currently in deferment with 3 Federal Subsidized Stafford Loans from CitiBank with a balance of $6k but I wish to have some lates (Apr 04 - Oct 04) removed.

 

Since all 3 loans revolve around the same dates, I have those lates appearing 3 seperate times on my CR - ouch!

 

I've never had a bad experience with these guys, even after finally calling and deferring my loans after neglecting their notices for months - thus, the lates. I call once every month to be 110% sure of my deadlines, due dates, or any other important information, and they've been nothing but charming.

 

So I'm on a quest to clean my credit and curious if anyone in my/any situation attempted and succeded in having lates on their CR deleted from a CitiBank Student Loan?

I still have lates from 1999 due to a misunderstanding of sorts...

They are sticking like glue.

At this point, Im just going to wait it out.

I hear a goodwill letter might work around the 6 and a half year mark.

So I guess in a year I can write one..hehe

 

They are pretty nice though I have to say.
