What the hell’s wrong w/these people?

 

I just received 4 letters in response to my one :lol:

 

Sent in a dispute, CMRRR of course, just got back a response telling me they're unable to process my request because I didn't state what was incorrect and what should be reported...? What the hell? I put "no knowledge of account", "date of last activity incorrect". These are accounts I have yet to dispute, ever! Why isn't that enough info? I sent them a copy of a CMRRR DV that was returned from on of the CA's; "attempted not known" by USPS. I told them they can't be reached at the address provided and the account is a very serious error in reporting. Don't you think they should provide me w/a current address, at least? How are they going to verify if the CA can’t be reached at the address given? Guess I should’ve spelled this out for them…?

 

They've done the same thing to DH. They deleted some of the addresses he disputed and left the others. In the dispute results there's no mention of whether they verified them and who verified them (I asked for that info as well). I know it's not an account, but it is info and is subject to the FCRA. I'm sick of them doing what they feel, when they feel :twisted:

 

What's my next step here?

I sent in a PR, too! They said they can't investigate...? WTF? I asked for your procedures and the contact info of anyone contacted in connection w/the investigation. Stupid!! I wasn't asking for them to investigate. Besides, they didn't send the info requested :twisted:

 

Guess I'll wait my 15 days and then send an ITS. Looks like two deletions in my future :lol:

 

Edit: Their form letter says to check my prior dispute results for the contact info of the furnisher. Can they do that? I asked for it, should they not provide it when asked? That is what the FCRA says, is it not?

 

I'm so angry! What a waste of $8.00+... :roll:
