I see many posts here with all three credit scores in a huge display.... how do you get those? I pulled my FICO from Transunion yesterday (763) but didn't want to pay $5.95 and $6.95 from each of the others. Is there a one-stop shopping site to sign up for these? How much does it cost?

Thanks!

You can get all 3 at myfico but it will cost you. Congrats on the TU score.

Yeah! Sure wish Chase Bank took that into consideration before they jacked my card from 9.99% to 21.24%. All cards are almost maxxed, so that hurts getting credit or keeping good rates.

It helps to let the OP know that there are Discount codes.

Try using CPPSAVINGS and it will save you 20% on pulling the 3 scores.

on a side note, how exactly did you get a FICO score from TU for only 5.95/6.95?

myfico.com will be almost much twice that, even with the discount.

When I pulled my free annual report from TU yesterday, it only cost $5.95 to get my score from them. Then the other two wanted $5.95 (Experian)and $6.95 (Equifax) for theirs.

Those are Fako scores +/- 100 points from ficos.

as mentioned above, be cautious about that.

to the best of my knowledge, the only way to get a genuine FICO score for less than what myfico.com charges (including discount) is through scorewatch and that's 6.95/mo for a minimum of 3 months, so unless you plan on getting your FICO score monthly, it's probably not worth it.

Follow these simple steps:

1. Order your scores at MyFico.com (CPPSAVINGS as discount code)

2. On the main page you'll see something similar to my signature.

3. On your computer press "PrtSc" button, usually in the upper righthand side of the keyboard.. after F12 (some keyboards it can be middle-ish right) it stands for "Print Screen".

4. Open Paint, (Start->all programs->accessories->paint)

5. Click "Edit->Paste" (Your entire screen view should past.)

6. Click any tool in the tool bar and then click on the square dashed lines called "select"

7. Start in any corner and hold the right mouse button down while dragging over the area you wish to select

8. Click "Edit->Cut" (A big white space should appear)

9. Click "File->New" (if it asks you to save, click NO and a blank page will open)

10. Click "Edit->Paste" (the area you copied is now pasted.

11. If necessary, use the little blue boxes around the white space (if any) to resize the item to fit exactly. (Shouldn't see any white or background besides for the gray of the paint window)

12. Click "File->Save As"

12a. Give your file a name, and save to an area you can easily find.

12b. In File Type drop down box, choose JPEG. Click Save

Now you just have to upload the file to your webserver (if you don't have one yet, get a geocities free hosting and upload the photo per their instructions.)

Next at Creditboards follow these steps:

1. Log In

2. Click My Controls near the top of the page.

3. Click Edit Signature

4. In the signature box add the following line of code:

[img=http://your.webserver.com/path-to-file/image.jpg]

Of course your will replace "your.webserver.com/path-to-file/image.jpg" with the actual location you'd type in your browser to view the image.

For an example:

If the following were true:

1. Your webhost was : www.themitchellexecutivegroup.com

2. Your username was: jmight

3. You called your file: ficoscores.jpg

You would put: http://www.themitchellexecutivegroup.com/~.../ficoscores.jpg

Using the "~" depends on who hosts your file, and how their webserver is setup. That's more complicated and outside of the scope of this board to explain. (and no that is not where my file is located..)

Hope that helps... If you want to deal with uploading a file to a server, PM me and I'll put your file up on my server and give you the URL. (invitation to CB members only though..)

Hope that answers the OP's original question.

EQ does not sell any type of score except for FICO. The $5.95 score that they offer with your free annual credit report or with a free denied credit report is a FICO.

The $5.95 EX score is a non FICO (PLUS score)

TU I'm not sure, I've never requested my $6.95 TU scores with a free report. Since TU sells both FICOs and Truecredit FAKOs, it might be either.

How long does it take for my FICO score to show up? I ordered the FICO Deluxe yesterday and as of right now there are ??? in the boxes instead of scores.

That's odd. Did you go through the identity verification stuff, where they ask you the questions?

Posted

I believe so, where I give them my name, SS#, address, and DOB. I wonder if I have to click on the link below each ??? that says Buy Today's Score. I'm afraid of doing this in fear that they would charge me twice, one for the Deluxe and one for the Buy Today's Score. Does it take this long, I thought it would be instant or at most a day. :(

I just called them and they said I should of got an error because an order wasn't placed. So I reorder the FICO Deluxe and get an error at the end saying they couldn't positively identify me so I have to call in, but now they're close. Well, I guess there is tomorrow. :(

No, I'm talking about the part where they ask you specific questions about your credit history, mortage stuff etc. The specifics so they can verify your identity. After that step, it pulls up your scores instantly. It's odd that you didn't get to that screen. :(

Gah! Sorry... Waiting sucks.

So just so I understand correctly, you are ordering the FICO Deluxe to get all three scores? It's like $45 (minus discount code)?

I noticed that this includes all 3 credit reports. I don't really need the credit reports, but would like to get all three scores monthly, is this possible?

I'm not down with spending $30 a month just for the scores, when I already get all three credit reports from PM.

What I would like to know is how did you get deleted Chase and First USA charge offs??

Not sure myself! :)

They were all paid off in 2002, so I disputed them to report "paid charge off" instead of just "charge off".

I checked my report online like 2 days later and they were gone. I think they were VERY close to 7 years since DLA, so they just dropped them (I've heard that if you dispute something that's within 6 months of falling off, they just delete it but don't hold me to this).
