Hello everyone! I mailed the following letter Certfied Mail RRR on January 9th, 2012. My cc account was 120 days past due, and according to PsychDoc, the FCBA letter was the one to send. Here it is:

PO Box 98873

RE: Request for Verification, Account #4447-9621-****-****
To Whom it May Concern:
The Fair Credit Billing Act requires that you bill correctly, that each statement be sent to the correct addreess, that you not ignore change of address requests, and that you facilitate disputed charges in a manner prescribed by law. The act also stipulates that you provide lawfully requested information concerning my account upon request in a timely manner. For that reason, forward a notoraized staement on your letterhead which will attest to your compliance to the FCBA generally and to my account specifically throughout the period I have been a customer. Otherwise, delete the negative marks you have reported to the three consumer reporting agencies within the timely manner prescribed by law.
Your prompt attention and expeditious handling of this matter is expected.
Sincerley,

Here is Credit One's Response that is dated on letterhead 1/22/12:
Thank you for your inquiry to Credit One Bank. This letter is in response to the correspondance we received regarding the above refernced account.
We have examined your correspondance in which you dispute the validity of your Credit One bank credit card. Your account was opened and a credit card was issued to you on November 13, 2007. A cardholders agreement which outlines the terms and conditions of your credit one bank account was included with your card. Once your account was established, Credit One Bank provided montly statements to the address provided by you. As indicated in the Billing rights summary, included on the back of every statement, if you think your bill is wrong, we must hear from you no later than 60 days after we send you the first bill on which the error or problem occured. Your billing error notice also must include the amount of the suspected error, and explain, if you can, why you believe there is an error. We have not received any correspondence since that time identifying a billing error, nor does your account correspondence identify a specific error.
If you have further questions call..........
What should my next step be? Now that the credit card has been charged off since then, should I send a request for verification since the account is still with the OC?
Any and all advice is appreciated.
