  1. Every 6 months for amex cli
  2. Penfed approved me yesterday to refinance both my vehicles for 48 months @ 1.99%, then today I went to pay my AMEX bill and noticed at the bottom next to the "PAY BILL" button was a "request credit line" link that I never noticed before. I clicked it and entered $20,000. My current limit is $16,000. A few seconds later it came up I was approved for $19,900. Dunno why they shorted the $100 but I'm not complaining!
  3. Bump. is it normal process for them to call ahead before serving papers? Update: I called the only practicing NACA lawyer in my area and he confirmed much everything that has been posted already. That they've violated several FDCPA laws and so on. He said it's becoming common practice for these kinds of collectors to try and collect on "zombie debts". He said them calling ahead before "serving papers" is just them trying to confirm an address before they drive over, and them serving papers to me is a good thing, because it's just more evidence to be used against them. I'll wait for them to serve papers then take it to the lawyer

  5. I just got a call from a private number from someone claiming to be a process server. They wanted to know if I'll be home tomorrow so they can serve me papers. They said my name and correct address. I asked what this is about and they said it's sealed from full spectrum litigation. I said if it's legit to bring it, if not stop calling
  6. Since they left you an affidavit number, it should be pretty easy for you to call your county court and see if you are a party to any such action and if that is in fact a real affidavit. Many times these records are available online - you might be able to look them up yourself. Claiming that you are being sued, have been sued, might be sued, should be sued, could be sued, and almost any other permutation involving 'sued' is a time honored tactic of scumbag debt collectors. It is so common that many states are now moving to make it illegal to even make that claim if the collector is unable to prove that the alleged debt is yours and that it is within the civil statute of limitations. You might want to contact a NACA lawyer, or your own attorney, for peace of mind. But as you haven't actually been served a notice to appear, I'm not sure I would worry about it. You can dind out for yourself if the allegation is legitimate by calling the court directly. And of course, if it isn't true, you have them on a violation. If they should attempt to bring you to task in a different jurisdiction and without proper service, then that too may be actionable for you. Gotta get to work - good luck with this. If it were me, I would contact the court and verify for yourself Thanks for all your help. I called my county circuit court, small claims, and criminal court, and none have any claims or affidavits with my name on them. I may try to contact a NACA lawyer today if I have time or Monday. I'll probably write up a cease and desist letter over the weekend as well. Any advice on the hard pull? Can I do anything about it or am I just stuck waiting it out?
  7. Inquiry 04/05/12 FULL SPECTRUM LITIGATION 2910 E INLAND EMPIRE BLVD ONTARIO CA 91764 CollectionServices No incoming number. It showed as unknown on my Caller ID. They want me to call 832-583-032
  8. The contacted me from was private unknown number but they want me to call 832-583-0326. I understand that legal advice can not be given but friendly advice is accepted The voice mail did address me by name. They left a claim and affidavit number, and said I have been made a respondent in a court action, and I must appear. They said I should forward this information to my attorney, and that the order to show contains a restraining order. I or my attorney has 24 to 48 hours to respond. I do not have any debts that are collectible. The only debt that ever went into collections went past the 7 year statute of limitations in my state about 2 years ago. It does not show on any of the 3 credit reports. If any one has filed a restraining order on me, I have not been served papers. I know of no one that would do that to me any way. I do have their address etc. I have not talked to any one. I called the number back and it goes to an answering service that asks you to direct your call to the proper department. I never talked to a human. The hard inquiry just makes me a little mad because I didn't ask for it and it affects my score slightly.
  9. Yes I've seen that and initially thought it was a scam but after I got the hard inquiry from full spectrum I've began to worry
  10. I also got a voicemail from Allied Litigation Group claiming a complaint has been filed against me. And I have 48 hours for me or my lawyer to respond or face court action and be subpoenaed. In addition a restraining order has been filed against me. I have had no papers served and no negative accounts on my credit report in about 10 years. I also seriously doubt anyone has filed a restraining order against me
  11. I got an inquiry on my EX credit report today by full spectrum litigation for collection. Who are they? I have no past due credit no negatives. Nothing. I pulled all three reports yesterday and they showed absolutely no negatives.
  12. Well, you're welcome Penfed. I got the same auto CLI.. $700 increase. No other offers though
  13. I know American Express will grant you up to 3x your credit limit after 61 days of ownership after approval. After that, I think you can apply every 6 months for additional credit. How much are you allowed to ask for and is it a hard pull or a soft pull. I know the first CLI at 61 days is soft. I applied a year or so ago and got $6500 and at 61 days was approved for an increase to $16,000. I think I'm coming up on when I can ask again but I was wondering what was considered "kosher" by Amex standards. Thanks.
  14. Just got approved for $7500 from Discover. I had a preapproval for 0% for a year and no transaction fees, everything so I jumped on it. Me and the wife needed a little consolidation and the free balance transfer was perfect
  15. Amex Blue 16,000
