  1. Yes, thank you CreditBoards! I got my Hooters card tonight with a 2,500 limit, no annual fee and 14.2 APR! This is my first 1000 dollar plus credit limit approval in a long time. My scores via MyFico are all over 650 but I have high util and haven't been able to get any cards onto which I can do a balance transfer. Can't do one with hooters either but I'll be able to juggle expenses and cash a little to pay off a higher rate card now that I have this one.
  2. Capital One Business Card reports to Experian Biz.
  3. I wish I had read this sooner. Well, maybe it's not too late. I didn't need another phone line but I did need a directory listing. I found out that I could get a virtual number from Verizon Business. They call it a Remote Call Forwarding number and it lists in 411 and the local white & yellow pages. In some states they call it a Market Expansion Line. But it's costing me 15 dollars per month. I think I'd rather pay 1.05. Thank you for the info!
  4. Another vote for Propay here. Easy to use, 60 dollars annual (not monthly!) membership fee will allow you to process 3K per month in transactions. The only other fees are 3.xx% plus 30 cents per transaction. I just referred a family member who is a small business owner with truly HORRIBLE credit (his personal CK score was below 500 when we ran it) - and he was approved for the 3000 per month account. If you need to process more than 3K per month, the approval process will be different and your personal credit may come in to play. Propay is now offering a card reader too, for 99$ one time plus 4.95 per month (waived for the rest of 2008, I believe)
  5. Penfed - Pentagon Federal Credit Union does a hard pull on Equifax when you apply for a checking account with them. At least, they did me when I applied 8 months ago. I don't know if they pulled Chex or not. My Chex report is clean.
  6. Yes, I am! It's messy but very productive!
  7. Hi there! I want to say thanks for all the awesome info that's been collected on this forum! I've been reading for weeks now and just made my first post last night. My own personal credit is in pretty good shape but I have some issues that I'd like to do some self help with, so far I've gleaned some great tips from the posts here. I have two family members with more serious credit problems so I'm hoping to learn enough to help them too. I'm also a business owner for the past six years. I had no idea how I should go about checking and/or improving my business credit but I'm learning how to do that here on CB also. Again thank you, I'm glad to be part of the community!
  8. Take a look at Propay.com and see if it meets your needs. They just introduced a card reader which is great for brick and mortar businesses. The rates are very fair and not confusing at all, as opposed to what you find with the large companies such as CardService. I know this is my first post - I don't want it to be mistaken as spam! I have no affiliation with Propay, I'm just a satisfied customer and thought I could be helpful here.
