  1. Hi guys, long time since my last post... I have an Bank of America (BOA) credit card that has a current status of "Account 120 Days Past Due". Not sure if its been charged off but the account has been closed by BOA. I need to boost my scores ASAP. I was offered a settlement of paying just 50% of what I owe. I'm not sure how to proceed. I have the following options: 1. Pay for delete - Ideal but does this even work for BOA a credit card? 2. Pay settlement amount - Will cost my thousands but will do it if my credit scores improve 3. Ignore it - Its only reported on 2 of the CRBs. 4. Validate/dispute - I'm assuming there is a slim chance of that working Thanks

  3. I would like to use a virtual po box (i.e. earthclassmail.com) for my next credit repair campaign. I don't want the credit bureaus to add this virtual po box address to my credit file as its not a real address. Can this be done or am I forced to dispute with my physical address?
  4. They know what report I'm talking about because I provide my SSN in the letter. So again why are people including confirmation numbers in their disputes and gifting the CRA and CA and additional 15 days? Please I'd really like someone to explain the incentive to me.
  5. I've asked this question last year but never got a response. I'm confused as to why people pulling their reports from annualcreditreport are subjected to a 45 day response vs 30 day. I mean I pull from annualcreditreport for my disputes however I never include a confirmation number. So because the cra never gets the confirmation, they are subjected to the 30 days. So my question is why would anyone include a confirmation number in a dispute? What's the incentive?!

  9. They raped my iTunes visa CL from $5000 to $500! Perfect history and usage.
  10. Anybody with an Internet connection and $20 can pull your IRS returns.
  11. I see internet sites advertising "Tax Return Verification Services" all over google. Basicly anyone with your SSN can print out a copy of your tax return from any year! Is there some type of privacy protection from this similar to that of a credit freeze for pulling credit reports?
  12. I was hoping to find some violation here, not necessarily a ratings boost from the diispute status. Not one of the CRA's ever report a single account on my report as disputed. This is dispite the fact that I was hammering them for about 6months. The thing is I am not sure that a disputed rating will help, it can only be there for 45 days. This is a good thing to mention in a letter. You need to contact an agency that regulates the CA. AG's office, OTS, OCC, etc.
  13. I've disputed a collection tradeline with the CRAs and CA however it's still not reporting as "disputed". What letter do I need to send out now? Thanks
  14. I was at Muvico this week and I was asked for ID for purchasing popcorn and a coke. I left my ID at home so I argued with the guy that he was violating his merchant agreement. Within minutes I was flanked by two floor managers explaining to me it was their policy! They thought I was nuts and I was forced to see the movie with nothing.
  15. yea... Was hoping u would share ur thoughts on the topic
