  1. NEcrothread revival-I hit this thread searching for this same question, and thought I was in good shape, but per USAA disclosure as of 1/31/09 they no longer accept non-usaa visa cards for cash advances and od protection. I had an old account that I closed, then reopened again this year, and this was in one of the disclosure forms. AS OF 1/31/09, NON-USAA VISA CARDS MAY NO LONGER BE USED FOR OVERDRAFT PROTECTION OR TO MAKE CASH ADVANCES TO YOUR ACCOUNT. MAKE CHANGES ON USAA.COM (KEYWORD: OVERDRAFT)
  2. Ive been told by People's Trust FCU that as a result of my application for a checking acct (ive had savings with them for about 2 years) that I can no longer use shared branching, and they can't open a checking account. What does shared branching have to do with Chex, if I have an account in good standing with a member credit union? CAS
  3. How does SOL work with collection fees for checks? The original vendor was paid-all the collections that show up for this company are just for the 35.00 fees. These checks were written in 2006. Can I tell them to stuff it? There is no 'OC' to pay.
  4. That's me, all right. It makes me wonder what other paper work BOA doesn't have. I have a Deed of Reconveyance with my name all over it, signed and notarized. I just got it the other day.
  5. Okay. good to know. Thanks! CAS
  6. Subject says it all. Id like to refinance away from BOA, but they don't report my mortgage on any of the three bureau reports. The only paperwork I have is a reconveyance deed from TBW's implosion in 2009 to me-nothing from BOA, ever, in the year since that happened, other than bills from BOA for the mortgage. So....what can I do?
  7. Yes, their denial to me (in NE) says experian.
  8. They were old, like 2005. Now if only I could get all three to report my mortgage. NONE of them do. THere is my old one that was sold and closed, but no entry for the new one. Its been over a year since that happened. (Taylor Bean crashed, BOA ended up with it)
  9. Well, US Bank pulls an Experian for their basic reserve line OD protection, and the FAKO is the only score it seems that I can see, since they don't report anymore. I had just hoped to see some movement.
  10. Ive dropped 4 collection entries off my Experian credit report in the last month, yet my USAA Fako remains the same. The changes are reflected in the copies that it pulls, but the score never moves. What gives? CAS
  11. Theyve come off in the last day or so from the online pull, but the fako didn't change at all, so I was worried that it wasn't working. I also have a BOA mortgage that doesn't show up, but that's probably BOA's fault.
  12. How long does it take for USAA Credit Check to pick up changes? Ive been a member for about a week, and in that time I have had 4 accounts removed from online disputes with Experian, yet no alerts have shown up on USAA.
  13. I faxed it to CSC Credit services on the 25th and got it back today. They killed one of my addresses that were old, but not the one that I KNOW I have never lived at. Can you make the CRA give you the info of WHERE an address came from? Ive lived in 3 places in Lincoln, none of them near this place. They deleted 1 instance of an address for which there are three different entries/variations. I guess I couldn't expect them to be proactive, though I did a blanket address removal request, too. This next one Ill cite them all specifically and see what happens. They also verified something that I didnt ask them to do, so a letter to 'Midland Credit Management' is going out today.
  14. I got the letter because I called them. It's not being reported anywhere, just suddenly, one day in June, my Acct of about 3 years was locked with "send tracking information" at first-but it was not an Ebay transaction. I sent them the tracking info, and later, the email from the guy in France that bought my collectible Zippo. Still no budge. Then, over the last few months, more stipulations creeping into their 'resolution' pages, but saying I had 'unresolved issues' on some other account that I don't know about, with an opening of 2005, and a 'charge off' date of Jan 2006. I buy and sell watches through a watch collector/appreciation forum, and many of them use paypal. It's a PITA.
  15. Ive made a separate account that is currently in 'verfiy' hell-'we need this, we need that....' and my new one is limited less than a day after I created it, even with a completely different bank account. Its really frustrating. Off to go look up what a 623 letter is. This doesn't look to be a credit arrangement with them, either. The letter lists different email addresses, presumably from auction actions or something, with amounts attached to them. There is a 'charged' off amount, but no credit account listed. Any other thoughts? CAS
