Well, I spent about $103.86 total and here's what I bought: boys underwear (for my son of course!) Grandpa hatand shirt for Father's Day Baseball pants(for my son) 400 Thread Sheets for my bed Cleats for my son and last, but not least, a bottle of aquafina! LOL I used my BOFA Visa/Debit card and I don't shop at Target very much. I applied several weeks ago for a Target card and got denied when i applied on line. I got a Red Card with $200 CL from Target I have a BK which was discharged 12/07. I sure hope that helps folks!

I bought something at Target yesterday and got a slip that says "I've Been Pre-Approved!" Does that mean I'm REALLY pre approved and I know i will get the card? Or is it s tactic to get you to apply..........I don't want to use it if it's only a tactic, but if I KNOW I will get the card, I will go back to the store. Thanks Christine

I went into my credit report just now and they pulled Equifax which is at 641............

Ok, I received a Pre-Approval from WaMu today which really excited me cause I never thought they'd even look my way.........so I ran to the computer got on the website and submitted the pre-approval code.........D E N I E D ........................... why would they send me a pre approval and then deny me? Maybe i don't understand the games these folks play but I thought pre-approval was a pre-approval.................. Christine

I live in North Carolina and they said on the news we should be receiving ours direct deposit Mon, Tues or Weds of next week. wringing fingers trying to decide just which thing I want to buy with it!! can't wait till i see that $1500 in my checking acct!! Christine

THANK YOU to all the CB'ers...........your advise has seen me through a BK7 (discharged 12/07) and now two months BK I have a cleaned up credit report ready for improvemet and between my DH and myself, 4 credit cards...................I NEVER thought I'd have a CC again!! Now we are working on improving our scores and buying a house in two years.............what a sigh of relief......I couldn't have done it without all the advise and direction I received over the last year........it's been alot of work, but it's been worth it.........to see that CONGRATULATIONS!! YOU'VE BEEN APPROVED is an incredible feeling of accomplishment.............. Now......On to improving the scores so i can buy a house in two years! Christine

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but I applied for a Walmart card the beginning of last week and I still haven't heard anything...........I looked on their website to figure out who to call, but I couldnt'........What should I do? Christine

I also was approved for a HSBC platinim mastercard: $500 CL Jazzy~ Jazzy, I don't know the Cap 1 CL yet.......it said it was approved but pending verification which I figure means they want to verify identity.....is that right?
