hi WhyChat so the OC HIPAA Compliance processed my payment and sent me a letter of payment in full on this one account. The account was eventually deleted from Transunion and I received a written updated CR from them. That was around December 20. I have not received any updates from Equifax and this account is now showing as Closed Balance = $0. Should I expect them to remove this account? If so, what is the precise followup letter to send to HIPAA Compliance?

WhyChat This legal notice was received from the OC advising me they intend to submit debt to state dept of revenue to offset my future tax refunds unless. The address and phone number are associated with OC

I checked the EQ backdoor. This collection is still showing status = D Unpaid also I contacted the OC (before this dispute with CRA) regarding the legal notice and they immediately transferred me to this same CA. does this mean they have a business relationship? I received TU updated report and this account was deleted. what are the next steps? should I send DV letter t o CA and after proof of delivery send followup letter to CRA?

so I'm still waiting for written results from TU and EQ creditkarma shows TU deleted the collection account. it's still showing on EQ what is my next step? do I h ave any leverage because TU deleted?

WhyChat PO couldn't provide proof of delivery for TU dispute so I filed complaint. (mailed on 10/14 Priority mail with expected delivery on 10/17) Today, I called TU to confirm receipt. They told me not only did they receive the dispute, but they also removed account in question and mailed me the written reply on 10/20. So I should receive it any day now. I did not yet receive a reply from EQ which is listing the same account. When should I check the back door? dispute was mailed on 10/9 and on 10/15 I got the email to accept email response (I did not click to accept) BTW I'm having trouble accessing backdoor to TU. I created an account, but still get login failure with a message to contact TU to reset password. I go thru the steps, but login still fails. any idea why this happens? I was thinking if I keep trying the account may become locked out.

WhyChat I understand. I disputed with EQ on 10/9 -- waiting for snail mail. Also I just disputed with TU. I checked back door for EX and there are no negatives showing. This account was recently reported so this is my first initial dispute. Will update as soon as I hear from CRA

EOB shows: charges $1064.40 amount you saved $545.81 amount owed $460.13 so if the NET balance = $110, then the other 3 accounts from same OC listed on "important legal notice" must also be NET balances because each amount is lower than amount owed on EOB acct on legal notice =..$90.58 - previously disputued with CA 5/13/16 CA responded they no longer service the account and it was return to OC I can afford to pay OC acct on legal notice = $848.57 EOB shows $3302.48 due from patient - disputed with CA on 9/12 CA responded with a validation and attached a 3 page consent & authoriation with my signature along with itemized printout I can not afford to pay this balance off at this time. acct on legal notice = $ 110.43 EOB shows $460.13 due from patient 10/9 sent initial dispute to EQ I can afford to pay OC acct on legal notice = $178.78 EOB shows $744.82 due from patient no communication from CA I can afford to pay OC

As the "open date" of June 12,2016 is NOT the date of medical service, what IS the date of service?? July 30, 2015 Do you have a "matching" EOB that shows that this is your balance?? I matched the accountnumber on credit with EOB account EOB shows: charges $1064.40 amount you saved $545.81 amount owed $460.13 The balance on the credit report and on the "important legal notice" = $110 It's not possible that I made a payment on this account. I'm not sure why the balance is reduced from $460.13 to $110. I did notice that each account listed on "important legal notice" shows a balance substantially lower than EOB balance. I'm not complaining just curious as to what happened to cause these lower amounts. Did you get any previous billing from the OC for this account?? If so, did you have any record of any payments made?? No I don't recall receiving a previous bill from OC or CA for this account. @kimbachelle last night I received all 3 new reports from CRA's. they all state I'm opted out of promotions. the only negative is showing on EQ. it's this same account so I'm sending initial dispute today. thanks for the update. I ordered updated reports from each CRA so I can see exactly where this one account is reporting. CreditKarma show it on EQ. as soon as I get new report #'s I'll send initial dispute to any CRA's that are reporting. and yes I recently opted out.

I called OC who asked for my account number. they politely placed me on hold and immediately transferred to CA. when I confirmed I was speaking with CA I hung up. I never got a chance to confirm the validity of this "important legal notice" this confirms the relationship between the two. so far only this one account is reporting to EQ so I'd like to deal with it right away. I didn't receive any previous notification from CA and don't have a bill. the letter is in the GHS envelope with window, pre-sorted first class mail, postage paid by GHs (no postmark) the letter has a legitimate Patient Financial Services office address, but the logo is a copy. the other accounts paid to OC a few months ago were not reporting,but I verified CA relationship w/ OC and opted to pay with HIPAA letter inser a. I have multiple upaid accounts with the same OC because Ihad a high deductible in 2015. all the details are in the original post to you PM. I just wanted to prepare for a discussion with OC so I don't misspeak and make things worse. SOME QUESTIONS do you think they would be willing to work out a payment plan. what is the best way to negotiate this? would they be willing to pull accounts back from CA ?
