What about calls for someone else? This person from Client Services out of Missouri keeps calling for my son. I have told her at least twice that this is my cell phone, it's never been his phone, no, I don't have another number for him, and don't call this number again. She calls every day - I usually just hit Ignore and wait for her to leave a message. She doesn't know he's my son, and I don't know how she got my number. When I asked her who she was with, she told me it was a private matter. What specifically do I have to say to make her stop? Sorry for hijacking this thread.

I've had my Hooters since March 07, no increase ($5K limt). DH just went from $3000 to $3300 at 1 yr mark. His acct was opened a few months after mine.

I'm in! I had to send an email with my funding info, and they will open the account on Monday. I never found out the actual reason for the denial, but I'm glad they let me in. I will hold off on any credit apps until next year. I got some letters from Alliant today, too, about my access codes for online and phone banking. I got the "we'll call you" response when I submitted why my app last week, so I was wondering how that would play out. No actual membership docs, but I suppose they're on the way.

Among the ones that denied me are Macy's, PayPal, WalMart, WM Discover, Circuit City, and Best Buy. I think I'm topped out, and don't think anyone will give me anything else. I BK'd on the big boys (Chase, Citi, MBNA, Wells Fargo, Discover, etc). If Alliant and CCCU let me in, I'll try for their cards after the first of next year.

I applied online for CCCU checking and savings today, and was denied because of something in Chex. I've never been in Chex! Funny thing is, I only found out that I could request a copy of my report about a month ago, so I did out of curiosity. The only thing there is an inquiry from 2006, and 3 from March and April of 2007 - Patelco and NASA. Has this happened to anybody else, and do you think they will reconsider if I call them?

BK7 here, discharged Sept 05. In April 07 I was approved for two $10K cards, then a $5K personal loan in July 07.
