I have tried two companies to repair my credit with absolutely no luck. I see some how to's on here, but they are dated almost 20 years ago. Is there an updated "how to" for new rules or changes that have happened recently? I really dont want to do this my self but it seems like the only way unless anyone knows of a legit repair company. Thank You

That is the only action I have witnessed. Now that amount is in a debt collector's hands.

I was financing something and I saw the collection on my credit report. I had no communication with my processor at all. This was a surprise to me 5 years after we did that job. I'm guessing it was a personal guarantee and that's why its on my personal report.

I have a building company that the homeowner paid his first installment on his CC of $16,800.00. After work was done he called his CC company and said it was a fraudulent charge. I went to buy something and I have a $16800 dollar collection on my credit from it. Any idea how to fix this? Thank you

I have a deposit on a home in MA and am looking for funding. I have an app in with Webster bank but am getting a bad feeling with all the docs there asking for. Does anyone know of a lender that deals with self employed wit a mid 600 credit score? Need help asap as P&S has an experation date. Thanks

If they dont know what the house is worth how would they know I owe way more then its worth? I never had an appraisal done for the modification paperwork. Is it worth them taken the home instead of lowering principal to what the current value is? -

The mortgage is for $365,000 the home at the corner of my street at equal size and build date just sold for $250,000. Is there any way to do a principal reduction with Chase? -
Before we applied for the mod are payment was 1350 now after we get approved for the mod the payment is 1900 and change. It is through chase and am really fed up with them right now. After doing the run around with them for over a year they come back with this. Is there any steps that I can go through to make this make sense to these people. How can they expect us to make payments that are higher if we where asking for help with the lower payment?

After being late on my mortgage back in May of 09 I called the bank to see if I could get a modification. After faxing everything that they wanted and calling them every week to check status I got no answers. In July I lost my patience on the phone and just wanted to make a payment and got refused because now I was n foreclosure status. So after faxing them up to date paperwork(because they expire in 30 days) three or our times we come to where I am today. I just received a foreclosure sale date of March 4 2010. What the hell do I d now? I have around 14k in the bank because have been banking what I should of been paying but they need 18k to reinstate the loan. Why did they not say I could pay the back two months ad everything would be fine?

We have been faxing and talking to WAMU/chase for three months trying to get our mortgage modified. Today we got a letter in the mail saying the home is in foreclosure and the entire amount is due. What should my next step be as I believe the bank is just prolonging the process unnecessarily.

The unpaid balance is 235000 on a property that is now worth around 130-150K. Why do I hear people getting help and they are not willing to give us any slack unless we pay them 8500? I feel the 8500 is better in my hands right now and not on a property that they will not redo for us.

I have a foreclosure coming up on the 28th of may and am wondering what can be done to keep this property? What the bank wants is 8500 before the 28 to be able to modify it but that seems a little bit high for something I bought for 240,000 and is worth about 150-165 now. How do I go about doing this. The place is rented and making money finally so payment isn't a problem for the time being. Can I get someone to buy this property at auction for the discount or is that some kind of fraud? Mike
