I have had this card for 5 years and it has always said to call Customer Service. Fortunately they like to give me $300 auto CLI's every 3-6 months.

Just a quick question for anyone that's familiar with VA guidelines. I'm qualified for a VA loan. Found a house that is listed for 1/2 of what it sold for one year ago. Similar homes in that subdivision are still selling/listed for the market value of the home I found. The house in question has had all copper plumbing removed... Will the VA deny this loan based on that? It would be a shame to lose this house and potential investment value over a couple thousand dollars to replace the plumbing. Would a lender approve the loan if I was able to get the bank to pay for repairs by either upping the asking price or whatever. Thanks in advance!

Hi all. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this issue that has come up in my loan process. I'm a first time home buyer. My wife and I found a house that suited our needs and I put an offer in on it. The builder accepted. I'm currently going through USAA for a VA loan. I have provided all documents requested by my Loan Processor, I have no real debt so to speak, and my income is sufficient for the loan amount I'm trying to get. This brings me today. My Loan Processor finally received the income verification documentation from my employer and stated that every thing looked good and she was going to submit my loan to underwriting. Thirty minutes later she calls me and tells me that since I'm a contractor, she's going to need more documentation. I am a W-2 worker, if that makes a difference. Basically my employment works like this. I was hired by and currently employed by Company B. Company A has a Contract with Company B to provide contractors for certain "services". Company A, though not my employer, is who I report to, hires, fires, gives raises, etc. My only interaction with Company B, my employer, is making sure they don't mess up my pay. Now, for what I can only assume has to do with labor laws and/or taxes, I'm only allowed to work for Company B for 47 weeks. However, Company A tells me directly that I need to switch to Company C before the end of my 47th week so I can continue to perform "services" for them. Pay, benefits, and title all the stay the same with Company C. The only thing that really changes is who pays me. Hopefully that wasn't too confusing. I still don't fully understand why are forced to ping pong around to keep doing our job. Whatever it is I'm sure it saves them money. Anyways, my question to you all is this. What type of documentation or letter would be necessary for this loan. My Loan Processor, who is not very forthcoming with information (different story), could not really tell me in detail what she needed. I'm hoping some of you have dealt with this and can give me a general idea as to what I need to do at this point. One last thing. Company A, the company I do all the work for, has an individual that directly deals with us contractors, in regards to the Contract, but more so the companies they (Company A) have Contracts with to provide contractors...Companies B-Z. Would something from this person stating that they (Company A) will continue to use my services in the future be sufficient? This individual does have the authority to do make such a statement. This getting more and more frustrating as the process gets deeper. Any information you all can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Question in regards to per diem and how, if at all, it counts towards income. I receive an hourly wage and $xxx/day, 7 days a week (documented). My per diem is just shy of half my annual income based on 40 hours a week, so it is a big deal if I can not include that as income. I'm currently looking for homes and want a realistic idea as to what I can afford based on my calculated income with an underwriter.

Yes there is a CLI button. They manually review these requests. Haven't seen an automatic CLI yet.

Keep on chippin away at those baddies! My scores raised from low 500's to mid to low 700's in a years time after I found CB. I have no doubt you'll exceed your goals this coming year.

I do not have any previous or existing accounts with Chase. If they pulled hard, it would've shown up by now.

A week ago I applied for a Sony Visa and Disney Visa, both Chase products. I was approved for both. I do not see any hard inquiries on any of my daily pulls. Does chase pull soft?
