  1. Thanks for the reply. My account was also IIB in 2006 as well. If you find any additional information on this problem please let me know.
  2. I been battling Equifax for almost two years now to stop reporting a certain GEMB/JCPENNEY account reporting multiple times. Before any ask, this is NOT an account that was sold to any collection agency. It is being reported directly from GEMB. I disputed this account as a duplicate many times with Equifax and most of the time they will delete the duplicate account for only it to reappear the next month. Does anyone here have an address or better yet a phone number that gets me connected to the credit reporting department of GEMB?

    Juniper CLD???

    None at all.
  5. My wife has a MC with Juniper. The other day she was checking her account which she has a zero balance on. She noticed that they cut her credit limit in half. She called them and they said some BS that she was not using the majority of her available credit and that is why they reduced her line. She asked the rep if they would restore her line and the rep said no. Does anyone know of another department and phone number where she can talk to someone else to see if she can get her original credit line restored?

    GEMB/JCPENNEY

Was it the actual credit reporting department for GEMB/JCPENNEY? I did a lookup on this number and it shows some sort of collection agency. This account is not in collections. It is being duplicated every month with the exact same information and account number on Equifax. Equifax says I need to contact the furnisher of the information to get this resolved.

  9. I was wondering if anyone knows of a direct phone number for GEMB/JCPENNEY department that handles credit reporting. I have called the regular customer support line only to be given some p. o. box to write to. Any help would be great.
  10. Experian is screwing up a lot of peoples reports in the last few weeks. We had our chapter 7 Bk discharged almost two years ago. All of my accounts were reporting correctly with IIB. Last week I noticed that Experian is now reporting theses same accounts as "IIB/ Account Charged Off" none of theses accounts were ever late prior to our filing. The other two CRA's are still reporting them correctly. Something is screwed up with Experian's database.
  11. This stuff is showing up on the actual reports pulled directly with EQ. It is not just inquires being duplicated multiple times. I have multiples of the same account showing up to as many as four times. I have sent them a letter on this problem last week and we will see what happens. This has been going on for me for almost a year now. I have written to them over and over again as well as phone calls. This time I have mentioned in my letter that if this is not solved this time around I will bring legal action against them on the Federal and the state level. I am not going to let this problem go on anymore.
  12. Anyone else having this problem and if so have they been able to get EQ to resolved this?
  13. I have been having the same problem with EQ showing the same account GEMB/JC Penny 4 times now. What is scary about this is that the "Date Reported" is sequential, meaning it looks like EQ or GEMB/JC Penny is adding this account to almost appear as a new account every month. If this is the case it will multiply forever. I have just filed my dispute about this with EQ and we will see what happens. I think this is a major problem that is going to take much more that your standard dispute letter. It is only happening with EQ and not with the other CRA.
  14. My wife said the same thing. I guess it is time to litigate this in a court of law. There are so many violations they have committed it should be very interesting how they will be able to defend any of this.
