  1. Hi everyone, I received a voicemail about two weeks ago and completely forgot to ask if anyone here has heard of "Mr. Wilson's Office", phone number is 407.219.9182 I just received two missed calls in a row, no voicemail this time. I have received nothing in the mail from them and I can't find any contact info by working backwards through their phone number. Seems like on 800notes, they've given different names to different people. So... anyone have any personal experience with these jokers? I'd like to send them a letter but it's difficult without contact info, and I'm sure as heck not getting on the phone with them. Thanks!
  2. Oh and I also forgot to mention, my old car broke down RIGHT after I discovered this so I ended up having to apply for my car loan while this collection was still reporting - I still ended up getting a 2.99% for 60 months through my CU on a new car! (Sorry, I can't figure out how to edit my previous post)
  3. Well I didn't receive anything back from Stellar, but they did delete it from my reports last week!
  4. Thank you so much, everyone! Letter is going CMRRR today!
  5. Hello! I haven't been here for a while but I am looking for some help! I am going to be financing a car soon so I pulled my reports after not having done so in a while. Things are looking pretty good, however I discovered a $203 collection for Stellar Recovery Services on a very old Comcast account. The date of first delinquency of 3/2011 which is incorrect, not to mention a completely random date. I had a Comcast account that I closed back in July 2007, then didn't have another account with them until December 2013. When I contacted Comcast about setting up an account in December, they opened it up without question, didn't mention I had any outstanding balance, presumably because it's over 6 years ago. I live in Oregon where the SOL is 6 years. I am unsure how to tackle this, because I have no proof - no copies of old bills from 2007, my old computer that had old credit reports crashed, and I am unsure whether to DV Stellar or just debate it with the CRAs. What is the best way to handle this? I am half tempted to PFD if it will go away quickly, but on the other hand it should not have been re-aged. thank you! Dana
  6. I am helping my boyfriend get his credit reports and EQ cannot verify his identity online - based on info we received when he applied for a credit card, there is obviously something going on (unsure if it is identity theft at this point). I saved the form for to do the request by mail, but for some reason it doesn't show on this form WHAT we need to send in to prove his identity! Does anyone know what we would need to send in? I can't find it on the EQ website, and I can't find their phone # to call them.
  7. Oh man I thought my state SOL could help me out on this one!! EX and TU say 30 days past due as of Aug 2003. According to the reports they are scheduled to continue on my report til May 2010.
  8. Hi guys, I have been searching the forums but have had no luck on this one. I have a Crap One acct that has a DOLA of July 2003. I live in Oregon, where the SOL is 6 years. The debt is past the mark now, wowie! Anyway since it is negative I would like to write a letter to have it removed from all 3 bureaus, but I worry that other creditors may notice that I'm paying attention to my reports and start after me again. Things are fairly calm right now (maybe they figured out I'm not worth much, lol) with the exception of one unknown debt letter I received a few days ago. Will this wake the sleeping giant? Or is this the kind of thing that isn't noticeable? Also, Capital One filed a judgement against me on this same debt but I am not sure it is totally legit, I need to figure out a time to get down to the courthouse and take a look. I am looking at the entry on my credit report and it seems incomplete. There is a claim amount, but no liability amount. Is that normal? Sorry if this should go in a different forum. Thanks all!
  9. RPM (Receivables Performance Management) is a collection agency based out of Milwaukie, OR. I have not had anything in collections with them but they post jobs now and then on Portland's Craigslist. I am pretty sure RPM and RJM are separate agencies.
  10. UPDATE! I sent them a plain ol' limited C & D. Didn't hear from them at ALL, except from the one instance listed above until Sunday afternoon when they called my parent's house again!! It was a recording. I haven't heard a single thing from these morons and I was LIVID when my dad told me they called their house. How do I proceed from here? Send them another one with a copy of the green card from the last one and tell them to back the heck off?? They have my correct mailing address since I sent them that letter and they haven't made a single contact via USPS. What do I do?? Thanks!
  11. I haven't purchased my reports yet because I'm waiting on my paycheck. I might know which one it is (but without a dunning letter I can't be sure, can I?? ) It may be Cap One, I've seen other people on here deal with Eskanos & Adler with their Cap One accounts. Date of last activity was July 03. CO'd in Jan 04. SOL is 6 years in Oregon.
  12. Well, I sent the limited C & D on Wednesday of last week - it was recieved at their office on Friday at precisely 11:08AM and I got my green card back today. I sent it to the attention of the man that called for me, and he left me another message today! I saved it, let's see if he calls back tomorrow. I could understand if he'd called on Friday and hadn't recived the letter yet, but he should have it by now. He sounds like such a sleazeball (typical!). I reeeally wanted to call and leave him a snotty voicemail after I got off of work but I resisted. Come on buddy, I dare you to call again!!
  13. Hey guys, I've recently gotten a phone call from the fabulous Eskanos and Adler. They first called my parents house looking for me, then I left them a voicemail with my phone number. I know, I know, stay off the phone! I just wanted them to leave my parents alone. Anyway, I got a returned call from some guy and he said "Please be advised that you provided us with your parents' phone number" when I have no idea who these people are!! I haven't lived at my parents house in 7 years. I have had my same phone number since then. They HAVEN'T sent me any kind of letter. I moved in July, but I have mail forwarding. They first called just before Christmas, so I should have recieved something by now, even with the forwarding taking a few extra days. Also, they are not licensed to collect in Oregon. So, most of the letters I've found here are the typical DV - but, I don't really have anything to dispute at this point since they haven't told me WHY they are calling. I'm fairly certain that in itself is a violation, plus they can't collect in OR. How should I word this? I'd like to get this sent off asap! Thank you for all your help!
  14. I haven't been sued by them, but they called my parents house looking for me. I haven't lived there in over 7 years! I left the guy that called a phone message with MY phone number (foolish to get on the phone, I just wanted them to leave my parents alone!) and he left me a voicemail that said "please be advised that you provided that phone number to us" or something ridiculous like that. Hello, I have no idea WHO you are, I've never heard of you, I've never recieved any kind of notice in the mail from these people, and yet they're calling me. And I allegedly provided them my parent's number? I don't think so sucka! I've got my limited C&D all ready to go and I'm hitting the post office tomorrow.
  15. Of course I'd like to try to rehab on top of the garnishment if I can come into some more money, but how can I do that? Also, isn't a garnishment supposed to be withdrawn AFTER your health insurance is deducted? Mine comes out before.
