Hello everyone! I have been a lurker for some time now and think I am starting to understand the process of credit repair after lots of reading and note taking. I started a couple of months ago on my own and used the reports off of Creditchecktotal.com. I sent out a blanket dispute to each CRA and ended up with 10 deletions off of Transunion and 1 off of Equifax (Still waiting on Experian) After lots of reading here, I see that is not a good idea to base credit repair off of the tri-merge sites. My question is, I see everyone saying to order the hard copys of my reports and I wanted to make sure I understood it correctly. I need to order the hard copys of my reports and pay the fee for each one, not pull it off the CRA website and print it? Will I need to plan to pay this everytime I need to get updated reports?
Also, should I go ahead and sign up for a credit monitoring service? I have looked into a few but they will only allow a refresh on your reports every few months or so. Is creditchecktotal.com ok or is there something better?
Thanks for the help, I have been through the search feature and the Newbies section and cannot find a definate answer.
