  1. Thank you, that is the type of advise I was looking for. I have no problem doing this slow. I was shell shocked when I looked at my cart from Restoration Hardware cart and it was over $20,000.
  2. I make $175,000 (increased from $125,000) a year purchased a home with a $1500 mortgage, drive an old BMW paid for....I sleep on an air mattress. If this is poor management then I like to know were I messed up... Besides defaulting on student loans 6.5 years ago while a surgical resident In that case, the best way to furnish your house is to save for a month and buy with cash. If your income is that high and your bills that low, you should be able to get quite a lot of nice furniture on just one month of savings. That's what I'm saying! I think OP is pulling our leg on this one. It's called student loan debt, approaching $462,000. 6 years of undergraduate and 4 years of medical school combined with 6 years in residency will do that. Frankly I don't care what you think. Topic is posted in money management, since I live way below my means and save all my money.... I was asking if it was wise to finance to build More credit or pay cash, which I have done for my last 5 cars.

  6. Make a $25 payment ASAP, then make payment arrangement. File for deferments or forbearance
  7. It's 5 from department of education in NY state. I would call collections
  8. My secured card doesn't give me a foot in the door,
  9. Mine are off
  10. My credit sesame 661, myFico 664, PSECU 692
  11. My PSECU score was exactly the same as mortgage trimerge pull
  12. Mortgage says I have to pay it... But I am hoping to pay the university the original amount and have them vacate the judgement for payment. Of course I will not say I need it paid for mortgage
  13. Ok I will try disputing again with EX, but what happens when they come back saying its tied to the PR? Is a copy of the police report needed when disputing, or should I just reference the police report number and date in the dispute? I am in special handling at EX. Thanks Tommy I've had the same issue, and the address wasn't even real. It was my girlfriends, they won't delete
  14. That's what I was hoping. Seems like Capital 1 will give me CLI increases at a rate much faster than USAA unsecuring this card (never)
