They are reporting recent balance as "N/A"

It is for Continental Finance/1ST bank of Delaware a CC I had about four years ago. Continental is reporting on my EXP CR Status: Closed $660 written off

I have this CA on all 3 of my CRs. The problem is AFAIK I have never received any letters from this CA. They also keep increasing the balance of this account by $17 every month and the "reported since" date seems a little suspect to me as well. It says it has been reported since the current month/year; however it has been on there much longer and it has a long payment history at the bottom. I just checked a CR from 2/2011 and the account is on there listed as being reported since 2/2011. As well my TrueCredit alert says new collection account every month. To me it appears they are deleting/readding the TL every month. I am not sure how to handle this CA. The OC is listed on only my EXP and is listed a CO/$0 balance. The account will be moved to another collection agency and the process will start all over again. Who owns this debt?OC or jdb? This is what I am afraid of. I a not sure of who owns it. It was originally for Charter Cable I have a new account with them now and they didn't mention the old one when I signed up so not sure. I guess for now it will be removed and when it hits again I will either DV or PFD with the new CA.

So on 02/07 I sent Credit Management a PFD request from a letter received in August. Today I received a reply that states they have reviewed their files, are no longer pursuing collection, and will delete the trade line. What is going to happen? The account is well within SOL and I was ready to pay it. What are they going to do with the account? Should I expect this to pop up later under a different CA? Should I rejoice because the TL is gone and I didn't have to pay? Thanks!
