  1. APPROVING BANK: Tinker Federal Credit Union BUREAU PULLED: Transunion CREDIT SCORE: 697 CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: OK NEW/USED: New YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2012 MILEAGE: 15 RETAIL/LEASE: RETAIL AMOUNT OF LOAN: $16,671.93 ADVANCE PERCENTAGE TERM CONTRACTED: 84 APR/LEASE RATE: 4.5% MONTHLY PAYMENT: $267.50 MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: 2012 Buick Verano. 7k down with $750 USAA member discount. Also had 4 paid charges offs. Only active credit was a secured cc with USAA and I did not need a co signer. Thank you Jesus!
  2. It finally came off! Thank you Jesus!
  3. Yes, I paid with a bill pay service through my credit union.
  4. A paid collection is better than an outstanding balance. And since I have paid my other accounts that were charged off my Equifax score has went up from 548 to 627 and my Transunion has went up from a 592 to 648. Both FICO scores. I also did not have any credit cards or anything else in my name that could have made my credit score go up So I think its fair to say that your credit score can go up even with a paid collection. As far as being approved for a auto loan credit scores are also not the only factor that are considered when applying for a car loan. I've spoke with aloan officer at my credit union and was told they don't aprove any auto loans with unpaid collections. That being said it was necessary for me to pay that charge off.
  5. that could be to verify that the payment won't be reversed but sounds like bs. was waiting part of your agreement? I did not discuss any waiting. They said that all payments are held for 35 days. I going to talk the original rep I made the settlement with.
  6. I called and they said they won't send out any information until 35 days after payment. I guess will have to wait 3 weeks and see what comes of my disputes with the cra.
  7. Yes It was a recovery specialist manager his first/ last name and phone number are on the settlement letter.
  8. Yes I have the settlement letter
  9. you said you had a settlement agreement with Cap1. send that and proof from bill pay to the CRA. in the future, use a personal check. Do you mean the credit bureau? If so then I have already done that. And its still not reporting correctly.
  10. I used a pay service (Billpay) through my credit union. I did not mail capital one anything. I have proof that I mailed the credit bureaus letters.
  11. I paid my Crap One account and disputed it so that it would speed up the process. I check my report via USAA Credit Check and now it shows that my balance is past due $846. WTF. I have the original letter saying it was a settlement in full. I also made sure I sent a copy of it to the credit bureaus when I mailed my dispute letter. Should I just call the credit bureaus and talk to someone, do a 623 dispute or call Capital One Corporate Offices?
  12. I made a settlemet with capital one. Whenever I get their letter I will send in my payment. I have to get this taken care of idealy within the next 30 days. (as far as having unpaid charge off on my account so I can get a auto loan) Should I still made an OCC complaint? Can they do anything after the account has been settled? do you have some assurance that paying the charge off will get you the loan? Yes. The loan advisor told me all the criteria for being approved. I'm positive I'll get approved. If I file the complaint after payment can the OCC do anything about it?

  14. Yes I think it would. I would point that the penalty interest might voilate some recent federal laws. what federal laws are you talking about?
  15. Well I have to pay because I have to buy a car and I refuse to go to a buy here pay here dealership. So I have to fix this before I can get a loan.
