Consolidated before rehab

Greetings,

 

I consolidated my student loans before I completed rehab (my loans were in default and passed to multiple lenders - so rehab would not have removed all of my negative TLs.)

 

My only problem now is that all of the old negative TLs are still showing as open with balances. Should I send in a dispute to the CRAs asking them to correct the accounts to show "Closed" with zero balance, or try to contact the multiple lenders directly?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
