Finished rehab last month.

DofE loans have been completely removed from EQ and shot my score to 766.

The SL's are still on EX and TU as collections.

Wife and I are making an offer on a house this weekend and we'll need our credit pulled January 1st.

I have a letter saying the DofE has requested the CRA's remove all negative Tl's but only EQ has done this.

Should I call DofE and ask them about disputing these as paid as agreed or should I just dispute them anyway.

I would call and tell Experian and TransUnion the dielemna and tell them you want to fax them the info to be deleted. Also, your mortgage broker should have an expediter for fixing erroneous info on credit reports that might be able to help with this.

Ugh - you're just having the worst timing with this, aren't you?? I agree with wokscott. Have you talked to your lender/broker about this? You may want to ask this on the mortgage forum because I'm really not sure, but it seems like this is exactly the type of thing that rapid rescore was created for. You've got proof that it's been requested and incorrect and one of the CRAs has even done it. I think Rapid Rescore costs extra, but it would probably be worth it in your case. I'm a total novice on what that is, though, so the mortgage forum people could probably be a lot more help (esp. fla-tan, who moderates both of these forums and might have special insight on rehabs).

Good luck!!! And congrats on the AWESOME increase on EQ!!!!!
