Capital One settlement back in July???

Back in July the DOJ announced that Capital One violated the SCRA. The settlement covers a range of conduct that violated the protections guaranteed service members by the SCRA, including wrongful foreclosures, improper repossessions of motor vehicles, wrongful court judgments, improper denials of the 6 percent interest rate the SCRA guarantees to service members on some credit card and car loans and insufficient 6 percent benefits granted on credit cards, car loans and other types of accounts .

My question is how will this, if it hasn't already, affect trying to remove negs from CR within the time period mentioned in the article. I had Capitol One before Active Duty, requested SCRA and they lowered interest but when I deployed they hammered me when i missed a few payments due to a loss of internet. I have been deployed almost 700 days in the last 3 years and it has wreaked havoc on my credit. Heck I am deployed in the Persian Gulf right now! Anyway, any insight from those who have looked into this would be greatly appreciated. Please PM me if you need additional info.
