I was unemployed a few years and let my student loans go into default, 3 of them. Years later I got back on my feet and had the 3 loans rehabed to ACS/Suntrust whom I have been paying on-time for a little over 2 years now.

Just recently getting into watching my credit report, due to a pending mortgage, but I noticed that TU (only) is still reporting the 3 original loans through AES/Educaid as 3 lines at 19 months late, past due, and 'student loan assigned to govt'.

Can I get these removed? How? Do I just dispute them, or does ACS/Suntrust have to contact TU?

Thanks for your help.
