Hello,

Long story short-

Defaulted student loan, OC sold to a student loan company (think patriotic).. :D

Anyway, have consolidated loan with company- to pay it off and end the fiasco.

Here's the problem- I have been list late for EVERY month that the CA has had the account. I have NEVER made a payment to this company. Called the company, and the CSR advised me that the CRA puts the late codes on the credit report. They simply reported that it is a defaulted student loan. She advised me to contact the credit bureau.

 

Any suggestions to handle this problem???
