old student loan/paid shows derog over 7 yrs

02/1996 open 2 student loans

 

derogatory as no payments ever made

 

07/2000

 

Ciitbank lies to me saying if I consolidate they will remove negative marks on credit files

I fell for it

 

no they didn't and no payments ever made

 

(loan discharged for disability application in since 99)

 

anyways, Citibank sent it to NYSHESC who reported it derogatory for a few years

 

so 4 negative tradelines 2 for Citi and 2 for NYSHESC

 

then Ombudsman involved and had the paperwork pushed thru and loan DISCHARGED

 

Question, since Original Date of Delinquency/ Date of Last Activity was when I opened the account.....

 

when does it come off my file? - w/ the original creditor, Citibank

7/2007 is 7 years from DLA
