Im considering getting a private loan from Education Finance Partners. However they were involved in paying universities to be on the preferred lender list which makes me suspicious. Can someone tell me about their experience with them or if I should be worried about getting a loan from Education Finance Partners?

I haven't heard anything about them but I'd say if they were caught paying off schools for "preferred lender" status then they might not be the best option (Nelnet was busted for something similar just a few days ago). Then again it's hard to find a private loan company with a completely clean slate.
