I don't know if this has been posted, i did a search and nothing came up.

I had Chexsystems issues and it was hard to get a checking account. Then with my credit being blemished it was even harder. I have ING Electronic Orange, but I still like the option of being able to write a check. So I found this bank that does not run a credit check or chexsystems if anyone is interested.

my deposits clear the next business day and you don't have to live in Texas to open the account. I got my checkbook and Mastercard Debit a week after mailing in my application.
