My demand letter from ECMC has several contact options including email. Since I am well -- basically a wimp and easily bullied, would it be productive for me to deal with them via email from initiation through consolidation and payment? Or will they simply email me back advising me to call them. If email contact will fulfill my obligation to contact them and resolve this I would much rather do it.

Thanks for any advice.

My Status:

Old defaulted loan.

3 months post BK.

Received demand letter with notice to contact within 30 days -- or else.

Will probably need to request deferment (after consolidations).
