Student Loan Repayment(Rewards)

Okay Today I just made my first loan repayment. Yeah!!! I have a questions about reward programs?? Okay SallieMae said if I make payments on time for 33 monthes I get 3.3% reimbursement of loan to me. Also since some are through BOA get 1% credit for 1st payment being on time. Does anyone know of anyother offers out there to help me get interest rates lowered? Or get remibursement so I can get these balances down? I have some new loans never defaulted on so they are in great standings. But I have some older loans that had to be conslodated and I have in the past defaulted on those are set to start repayment in June. Been in defferment ofr a couple of years.

 

Old ones we for first time in school. Then injuried on job and had to go back to get new career as I was no longer able to do the job I went to school for straight out of high school.

Okay sorry just wanted to add something i just found out about. Okay recently I became permanently disabled. Unable to work or finsih school as a result of an injury and the following issues. today I learned there is a program for Disabled person to get a Full Loan Forgiveness. has anyone heard or used this program. I was told that if approved I will be completely forgiven all loans based on my onset date. Anything before onset forgiven anything after have to payback.

 

 

Just watned to get this out there incase someone was in the same boat as myself.
