I defaulted on my student loan in 2002. Since then I have sucessfully rehablitated my loan. I now have two TL reporting "paid as agreed" but with all the lates listed, 30, 60 and 120's. I now have new TL since the rehab that is current. I sent a good will letter to see if they will remove the lates and the response was "We are required to follow very strict guidelines in our reporting to the credt bureaus. As a result, we cannot remove reporting that is accurate. We are unable to grant your request to remove the delinquencies reported"

It looks like I struck out. I guess I'll have to wait for the lates to get old and fall off.
