US Bank Second Chance Checking

I live down the street from a cash advance store and they are advertising US Bank Second Chance Checking on thier sign.

 

This is not something of interest to me, but I have notice a lot of people talking about chexsystems and telecheck etc... This maybe a good opportunity to get in with a "good" bank.

 

I could not find anything on their website, but it may be coming soon.

Yes US Bank has recently relaxed their ChexSystem policy. Most people on Chex will qualify for an account as long as they do a few things.

 

1. Go into the branch. Dont open an account online.

2. Dont mention Chex or inquire about second chance checking.

3. Do not apply for overdraft protection or any credit products.

 

If you follow these 3 lil suggestions you'll prolly end up with a REGULAR checking account, complete with Visa Check Card. I recommend the US Airways Visa Check Card. I think its $20 a year buta great way to rack up miles.
