Laid Off Right Before Papers Signed

We are refinancing, papers are about to be signed, got laid off 2 days after agreement reached. We are using same morgage company on the same house we've been in for the last 13 years. My question is, will this have any effect on the refinancing? Although, employment questions were never asked (which at the time was no problem) and not part of the paperwork filled out, the closing is suppose to take about an hour. What comes up at the closing?

Thanks for your answer(?) I guess what I'm asking is do we tell them or just wait and see if it comes up? Of course, I'm trying to go back to work. Was shocked at being laid off, had no idea it was coming, was told the same day that was my last day, that my supervisor was going to take my job. To say both my supervisor and I were caught completely off guard is putting it mildly. Never the less, this is now the circumstances, and I need to know if I should just call them and tell them or go though the motions and see if it comes up. The savings on the payment would certainly help until I find another job.

I've bought two houses, and went to closings with title companies... they never asked anything, you just wear out your hand signing.

 

I'd be very, very surprised if they asked you anything. Other than that....
