  1. I just started my own Sole Prop. I was thinking Staples would be a good choice to start out with for business credit. I have no issue going PG route, as I doubt they would give me net 30 right away. I am working as a consultant, and have not received my first check yet, but it will be steady work for the next 6 months. If my personal scores are at or above 700, I should be able to qualify right?
  2. I checked though my records, and actually, this was paid off in June 2005. I have a notarized document releasing me from the account. So would it be best to go after the CRAs first?

  4. A few years back I had a moment of incredible stupidity and co-signed for an auto loan for a family member. Payments were made on time for awhile, but ... (you knew there was a but) .... the account became late. There were several instances of 30/60/90 lates and then a repossession. Then the family member caught up the payments and regained possession of the vehicle only to have it repossessed a very short time later. I ended up seeing a lawyer and got the debt paid for a slightly smaller amount than what was owed. Now this happens to be the only blemish on my credit reports and I would like to get this taken off if at all possible. I have read through PsychDocs seminars and think I have some useful information. My concern is that his postings are several years old, and I'm wondering if they are still valid? My plan to start with is to request a Validation, then start with the Nutcase letters. Is the a good way to go? Thanks for any and all advice.
