  1. No spreadsheet attached. WIll someone be nice enough to upload it again? Thanks.
  2. Sad to say NO UPDATE. Correspondence and official complaints are being ignored. To the person who mentioned money laundering... even when the federal gov gets involved- the customer is notified by letter. No letters were ever sent. I did additional research. This bank loves to do this to people with large amounts of money in their accounts and or folks who move large amounts. Take/freeze the accounts with thousands to hundred of thousands and then loan it to others. I've yet to read a post/complaint about anyone who had less than 4k taken. Has anyone actually looked at their financials? I have. If what I saw was accurate, it doesn't look like they are doing to good. BTW- never was I rude to anyone at USAA. There is a big difference between posting online and conducting business over the phone. I speak "proper English" and have etiquette when needed :-P PS- accounts still not closed, currently credit only. Oh yeah, they love to look at my credit report every month. Pretty neat for a company who "no longer wants to do business" with me, don't you think? I love my country but I hate USAA! God bless America but they can go to hell.
  3. In regards to kiting...this link was an ok read: http://www.bankersonline.com/articles/sfpv01n02/sfpv01n02a9.html Here is one on ACH kiting: http://www.bankinfosecurity.com/articles.php?art_id=1469&pg=2 What disturbs me is the fact that, I used my accounts to pay bills. ACH transfer in... money in one place. Pay bills. Left rest of money in account. Same thing every month. Was I supposed to go to their non-existing bank tellers? Did they want me to write more checks? What did they want from me? For crying out loud I left thousands in their accounts for almost a year. Never did I hit a zero balance or go "negative." What's a girl to do? LOL I try to pay my bills down every month and maintain my lovely Fico...( which the proof is in my credit reports. balances went down over 100k...) :/ I just can't win...no problem don't wanna play the game anyways. Random question... wouldn't kiting have to be done back to back? How can one kite every 30 days (billing cycle?) I was reading http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61993 and the thought popped into my head...I did not make back to back transfers. Like I said, I transferred when bills were due. PSECU PENFED and USAA. My other smaller bills I paid out of my local (national) bank account. I only paid the bills that we bigger out of USAA because my local bank takes too damn long + im young...i refused to go to the post office until they got those machine things. BTW writing it, looking at it from a bankers perspective my big payments are kind of weird, but thats where my credit report comes in at. They should know, I never carried a balance with them until they shut me down and I had no choice. Dude wouldnt even give me the credit card address over the phone. He said I'll mail it. You will have it by the next cycle. My mother always said these creditors hate me because they can't make a dime off me. :|
  4. PS. Still doesn't explain why my CC is $511 higher or why USAA reported it as lost or stolen to EX and EQ + removed one account all together. Just a whole bunch of nonsense. If they felt that someone got a hold of my info, you would think they would warn me that my info is out there. Where are their supposed morals?
  5. Bummer. That's what I was afraid of - check kiting. It's very easy to trace the flow of funds to see if any of the funds were drawn before the banks actually had the money on the original deposit. Go here to read more about this since it's something people need to really understand and not get caught in. Your situation is a very good example of how many problems it can create if done innocently - http://en.wikipedia....ki/Check_kiting Thanks for letting us know what caused this and do hang in there! Yep. And no way are they going to tell you this. Far easier to just say "We chose not to do business with you." As bad as it sounds it's a lot safer than saying: "We think you might be a criminal, goodbye." As Sparky said, it's a good thing to be aware of the (often innocent) signs of kiting and avoid anything close. It's very easy for banks to prove (a couple of phone calls to each bank to get the timestamps on when each transaction was done). It's nice when they don't prosecute. I didn't realize the penalties were so stiff - according to Wiki - "It can draw a fine of up to $1,000,000.00, imprisonment for up to 30 years, or both, and many first-time offenders with no criminal background have received stiff sentences. In addition to the federal penalties, state law often provides for alternate civil and criminal consequences." In my case I wished they would had called. They would of felt really DUMB + I would not have to wait 30 days for my freaking money.

I read the link and I'm like I DID NOT DO IT! Proof that I did not it ...is banking records. ( Not sure if you accused me or are just saying some salamander at the bank thinks I did. LONG Day...) The money is ALWAYS in my accounts. Nothing ever bounced and if they called the bank to verify, the money is there (until THEY take it out)...even after that..there is always money left in all my accounts. Aw brother :/
  8. Oh boy talking about major boneheads. I call USAA up because I got 5 or 6 pieces of mail from them. None of which included a letter about my accounts closing or my bank statements (that I was told I should have by LAST Friday.) During the top of the call it was revealed to me that my account is NOT CLOSED. It's in Credit Only status, still. Yes, I know what I wrote before. USAA are major A-holes for this. At least now I can tell you guys why they are allegedly holding my funds for 30 days. The Rep said to make sure none of the money is [whatever the phrase was.] In others words to make sure I was not depositing funds that would bounce. HELLO....that just sounds really STUPID. I did not write checks and it does not take 30 days for a ACH debit to fail. At this point it is funny to me. Go ahead USAA...steal my money your thieves! When you take/keep anything that belongs to someone else and refuse to give it back...you are stealing! Since they like reading blogs...I hope those -icks read this. Like I said before, If I don't get my $ back on or before day 30 they are going to owe me big time. I wonder if I can do a class action suit against them. If not who cares, but I will get them on something because this is crazy. (PS my cell phone is still recording every last call.)
  9. Thanks. There is no USAA near me. :| + I already have fraud alerts on my report AND my reports are frozen for this very reason. People are very sloppy. I got someone else address on my credit report after feeling out for a condo b/c the employee was not playing attention. I called EQ and had it removed but kept the fraud alert on just in case it was not an mistake. EQ put it on EX but not TU. The hacking if any, is not on my side. It's USAA and their stupid computers. If you Google, you will find hundreds of people complaining. Even as a member I got emails from USAA about all of the phishing that was happening under their name. I told USAA in my last call that when I logged in, it would take me back to the login screen as if I did not login. It sometimes did it about three times before I got into my account. Pin included. I also assured them that I had typed the web address in myself and did not click any links. I can say for certain that this happened in Dec along with the duplicate charges to my cc (both online and off.) It was squeezing a lemon me off, especially because I was suffering from carpal tunnel. LOL As for my accounts, they closed EVERYTHING. Banking, credit, insurance, brokerage- everything. Before the weirdness on my credit reports, I would had thought it was just the EWS or something simple like other folks mentioned. But the fact that my cc high balance is $511 more than what it should be AND they are reporting it as lost, stolen, closed makes me really wonder. I checked my EQ report and all of the $ fields are $0 and there is NO HISTORY entered at all including no credit limit. EQ just says Lost or Stolen. Oh yeah, and the other account is DELETED.Its not even there anymore. USAA can kiss my rear. I wish not to do business with them! I just want my money back within the time frame they disclosed or the lawyer I retained will be put to work. I was taught as a child, if a store ( company) does not respect me as a customer ...take my business else where. That being said, even if I could get them to reopen my account(s) why would I even want to? USAA officially sucks in my book.
  10. Thank you. We shall see. I have two more weeks left.
  11. Sorry to hear it. They definitely don't like you. It's not going to hurt your score as long as closed in good standing. Ron. It says closed never late, so I guess I still gotta pay them off. LOL They wouldn't be the first group of people who does not like me. You know the saying, "if you don't have haters you ain't doing something right." Just glad my fico will not get screwed up because of some jerk at USAA. This is exactly how it is being reported: USAA SAVINGS BANK Address: PO BOX 33009 SAN ANTONIO, TX 78265 (800) 531-8722 Account Number: XXXXXXX.... Address Identification Number: XXXXXX Status: Credit card reported lost or stolen,closed/Never late. My high balance is actually my recent balance. When they blocked me I was actually trying to log in to pay it. Now I'm thinking in the back of my mind did they take my cash and pay it, though I was told they can not do this because I did not default. My min payment was actually $0 for this month. Balance History - The following data will appear in the following format: account balance / date payment received / scheduled payment amount / actual amount paid Dec 2011: $0 / December 9, 2011 / $15 / $2,276 Nov 2011: $0 / November 8, 2011 / $15 / $211 Oct 2011: $0 / October 9, 2011 / $15 / $775 Sep 2011: $564 / September 5, 2011 / $15 / $414 Aug 2011: $0 / August 3, 2011 / $15 / $279 Jul 2011: $0 / July 10, 2011 / $15 / $3,455 Jun 2011: $350 / no data / $15 / no data Limit High Balance History: Between Dec 2011 and Dec 2011, your credit limit/high balance was $7,000 Between Jun 2011 and Nov 2011, your credit limit/high balance was $4,000 CB wouldnt let me edit. Check this out. I looked over my notes and my when they closed my account the balance was NOT $6085 it was $5574 with a 4.9 interest rate. That's a difference of $511. There is NO WAY that I could have ever gon up to a $6k balance because I just got the increase in DEC and was blocked out by Jan 3/4. I did the cash advance somewhere around the 15th and left 2k on the card for an emergency. Now I'm starting to think what someone else wrote was right. My account was hacked and USAA elected to shut me. Think about it, had that person gotten access to my banking (maybe they did ...remember I can't SEE online.) I might of lost EVERY DIME...and sued the **** outta USAA.

  13. Check this out. I pulled another EX report and I see they did two soft pulls on the 14th. Rem I say last mth they did soft pulls on the 15th. Here is where it gets WEIRD as hell. Why are my two credit cards that are supposed to be CLOSED because they don't like me...reported as "Credit card reported lost or stolen,closed/Never late." Yes my credit cards say Credit card reported lost or stolen,closed/Never late. and there is NO balance when I owed about 7k total! No one stole my ccs nor did i report them as stolen. How will this affect my fico? I think I'm going to leave it as is and just continue to pay them. Despite giving them all of my info they do not think I'm me...but if thats the case get rid of the damn personal loans too! Wipe out the debt completely.
