  1. Thanks for the responses! I am filtering through resources and options that other people may have that I have not come up with yet. That was my main reason for posting. Since we are all across the country, I thought that I might get some worthwhile input and ideas. Thanks again!

STILL NO JOB SINCE MARCH......I AM HIGHLY DEPRESSED....AND MY FINANCES ARE ALMOST ALL GONE.....JUST GOT APPROVED FOR EXTENDED UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS THAT BUSH SIGNED OFF ON IN JUNE....13 ADDITIONAL WEEKS......I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.....UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE A HELOC OR LARGER LOC TO UTILIZE. I AM LOOKING FOR THE HUMAN RESOURCES FIELD AND WILL RELOCATE NATIONWIDE. ANY SUGGESTIONS? ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP ME OUT? I AM UP FOR RECOMMENDATIONS. THANKS ALL!

  4. I received my LOWES CONSUMER CREDIT CARD back in May with a $6,500 starting credit line. I just received a LOWES PROJECT CREDIT CARD in September with a $5,000 starting credit line. CLI's can occur after six (6) months for new accounts usually and then after four (4) months at the present credit line.
  5. They are not listed under installments. They are indeed listed under other.
  6. I would do it. Take all of them if you like. WAMU/CHASE will be two TU pulls. Citi will probably be EX. Just my thoughts. Let me know what happens.
  7. Both of these accounts are showing on EQUIFAX. They have the date opened as 01/01/1970. I wasn't born until 1975. Do I have some type of a defense here to get these things deleted??? Please understand that most of this situation is outside of Credit Karma's control. The incorrect inquiry was a coding error not caused by us and the solution to this problem has to be handled at the bureau level. Regardless of fault, we stand by our members in doing everything possible to remedy the situation as soon as possible. I can assure you that I am personally doing everything in my power.   10. Got an answer. They are actually looking for my MOTHER and have me as a PRIMARY CONTACT. However, stated that I am indeed not the debtor. Anyway....... They say it's for an old 2003 (opened) / 2004 (defaulted) Bank of America account. He said that it could have been an MBNA since they bought them out. Well, to my knowledge, and it would be A LOT, she has never had an MBNA or Bank of America account. I informed him that I would be sending out a DV letter today since she is disabled and handle her finances from time to time. The DV will be sent CMRRR. This is the right action, correct?
  11. I see. Well, I do have an ASHLEY FURNITURE card with them that I got recently. It has a $4,500 credit line. It is already reporting to EX and reports as a REVOLVING CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT. My scores actually went up. I would like to see who else offers them. I guess that you could say I must be one of the odd ones. Seriously.....Who else offers credit cards through CITIFINANCIAL?

  14. I received a voice mail message yesterday from a PN (?) Financial. Something to the effect of Ron Michaels attorney for John Sullivan. I called this morning and got a voice mail thus far. Any clue who these people are? They asked for both myself and my Mother so I am racking my brain trying to figure out what it is. I know that if I talk to them it is considered a bad thing. What to do?
