  1. This account was OPEN 14 months ago so there is no application to start a account ,just additional one for her to be added to the account. Kay costumer service told us we have to do it in the store...
  2. There is a possibility for them to deny adding her as JOINT ACCOUNT HOLDER if she dont meet the criteria for credit and income. She cant prove income as she is paid cash as self employed...
  3. My mom just got her Green card and her social security number and i am trying to help her establish her credit file the quickest way possible. My plan is to add her as JOINT ACCOUNT HOLDER or AUTHORIZED USER to my Kay Jewelers account which i have for over 14 months with only 200 $ balance on 4 000$ limit.Never late. The other card i can add her is the starter Capital One master card with only 500$ limit(12 months history,never late). I understand they will do a hard pull for JOINT ACCOUNT HOLDER and only soft for AU . As different lenders use different fico programs some of the new programs don't take in consideration the AU anymore. For the moment i think the best way to do it as JOINT ACCOUNT HOLDER on Kay and after a month see her new FICO score and apply for prime cards. Any ideas from you guys will help us tremendously...

  7. LVNV have 2 of my DW collection accounts. Both accounts are out of SOL and they report them as OPEN ACCOUNT...BALANCE 9k and 653$ and PAST DUE $$$. This is the worst reporting in her credit and we disputed them but they did nothing. What we should do?
  8. DW have a old collection with HSBC and the CO is LVNV. The account is out of SOL and they just send a offer to settle for 200$. Paid collection is not what i am after unless they accept to PFD. PFD worked for us with RJM and if LVNV agree will removing of 5 year old collection increase a FICO? Did someone here got a PFD success with them?

  10. We like to buy a house around 200 000-220 000 $ with 30 % DTI was hard but now with up to 40 % DTI we can. Can we get this automatic approval without a contract for actual house so we know exactly our price range?
  11. We are getting ready to buy a house after 5 years of renting and there are few things i like to find out. With FHA loan to qualify is needed 30% front DTI. PITI less then 30% of Gross income -PMI,SID,LID and assoc fees included or no? Can we get 5/1 or 7/1 interest only loan so we can buy a better and bigger house with FICO 587,602,624 and we are paying down credit cards to reduce them from 45 to 9 % only balances? W2-Income 57 000$ no late payments or CO in last 4 years 3 current open trade lines - 1 installment loan 3000 with 3 payments made 2 Kay credit card 4000 limit w 210 balance 12 payments on time 3 Credit One CREDIT CARD with 400 limit and 80 balance 1st payment to make.
  12. UPDATE... Just recived call from MCM. They agreed on MY terms. 1. CO account was close to 10 k no PFD from them.They said best can do is reported as PAID IN FULL after last payment recived. This account is last account in SOL and we were afraid they can sue and update balance with additional 9k . MCM account mgr went down to 3850$ to settle.Send their offer in writhing. 2. Had DEFAULT JUDGMENT from them in other credit card debt for 3800$ with allowed interest on those Judgments is over 5500$ in total. We send them a offer were we offered 2200$ for 1st CO and 2700$ for the JUDGMENT. MCM account mgr we were dealing with called and said they agree to our offer and ask for 500$ payment per month. Told them there is no way to pay over 200 per month and she agree. She is sending their agreement to us and if we are okay with it will go for it. We were going to file BK7 if MCM total was 14 k plus other 9k in interest and now for less then 5k we got it solved. Lets see their offer in our mailbox and consider it.

  14. Liverichly thank you for your advice. Just recived letter from MIDLAND -they offer us to settle and we may do it just to stop them for suing us. There are few other collections left UNPAID but they are 5-6 years old and out of SOL. Some banks don't require Collections to be paid off others do. What is your opinion here? Next year we will have all Judgments paid of and try to vacate them. IRS paid off. Her FICO was 580,611 before we opened a credit card with Kay jewelers 8 months ago/ 4000 limit with 170 balance/. There was a company who report rent payments to CRA but i forgot the name of it. Can you mention a company who can do this and you used in past?
