I am new to this site and just wanted to say hello. I joined PsychDoc's group at Prosper and he suggested I visit. I can see that there is alot of information and support here. My husband and I are trying to rebuild our credit after the plant he worked at closed in 2003. He decided to go back to school and it has been a rough couple of years. You know, the bills stayed the same but the income went down. He has graduated and has a good job but we have some serious work cut out for us. I thought about Prosper.com because it seemed that there are good people there who would be willing to help us out. Things have gotten behind and the old credit score has went down but we have been very determined to not lose anything through this period of our lives. We have read and heard about so many people losing the home and cars after a plant closing and we are very thankful that that hasn't happened to us. Any advice would be greatly appreicated.
