I would just like to say THANK YOU ALL! When I first came here FICO (565) I couldn't even get a Target or Walmart card. I started off small and started building good solid credit. Created good habits and took each day and credit bill one by one and worked it down. I have just bought my first house, saved up enough for the 20% loan and closing escrow and will have keys in about a week or two. I have ZERO debt. Paid everything off making double payments and just practicing good credit lessons I learned here. I am over 700 fico now and loving life. For those of you that are just starting out. HANG IN THERE!! I just got a letter from a creditor on an account that is already paid in full. it says if I don't inform them within 30 days in writing that they will pursue the collection. The account is already paid in full!!!! What letter should I send them? Thank you

My sister just got approved for a loan and her bid was accepted. She is in escrow. She had been applying for better paying jobs and started one about 3 weeks ago. More hours better money in the same field nursing. Now the loan company wants a letter stating why she changed jobs... Does anyone have any ideas.. a template. know someone I can talk to get a good letter written? What are they looking for? Thanks Guit

For those of you with a Chevron Card have you noticed that on Truecredit they closed the card and it says 0 balance transferring? Are we going to lose our history? Guit

I have had it 10 months perfect payments and they upped me to $2000.00 Awesome... I did however notice that my Equifax took a hit saying account closed transferred... Will that hurt my score? guit
