  1. Thanks. I had been considering that, but now I guess I'll bet off my but an actually write a letter.
  2. Hi, Right now my AAOA is 8 years, but I'm waiting on a new chase visa (cl. 5000) to report. That card will make a total of 6 cards. I'm considering closing an express card that I don't use anymore. The card was opened in 2001, making it my 2nd oldest credit card, but it's been cld'd to just $100. It's the only negative I have (three 30 days more than two years ago) and it shows a high balance of $500. My question is this: keep it or close it?. Right now my scores are 750+ (FAKO 764). I don't plan on applying for anything for at least a year, hopefully two, and it's my lowest limit by far so it won't really affect utilization. I'm kind of thinking since I'm going to be taking a hit anyway with this new card maybe I should go ahead and just close it now. Thoughts? Thanks!
