My report is a mess, every year or so I would dispute then forget about everything, but now I really need to clean it up if I hope to get a home by the end of the year. One one of my bank of america charge offs under remarks it states "Managed by financial counselling program" It is not, and never was, I contacted a program for info years ago but never made a single payment and quickly decided it was not for me. Would this be grounds for a removal? I have another BOA card that is listed as paid in full, charge off, bought by another lender. Now this was purchased by a collection agency, and long story short, I was sent a letter that violated several laws and settled for enough money to pay the debt and cover lawyer fees. Now bank of america lists no balance and date paid 2008. This was paid in 2011. I Have A First Premier Bank Which states a charge off, with date opened 09/2009 and date closed 12/2009 and last payment made 4/2010. Those dates done really make much sense, an account being charged off in 3 months and then a payment 6 months later. Could that be something worth a dispute. Then there is the collection account mentioned before with bank of america. Its listed as a Factory Company Account, that is listed as open in account type then has date closed 4/2012 Any help would be great as I plan to create a jack attack letter this weekend.

Selfish bump thinking of disputes to try and get then both off -
I owe fingerhut about 30 dollars, between life and getting laid off and finding a new job things have not been great financially, I should have just paid it off months ago but did not, so I log in today and see WEBBNK/FSTR on my report, as well as fingerhut still, I was never told about this, never opened another account, what should/can I do. I mean I would PFD both of these if that is the easiest option.

Sent jack attack letter and sure enough came back updated. They list it as a installment loan which it is not, did some research and saw that them claiming its an installment loan is illegal. Will a bbb claim help in this situation and see where that will get me?
-
Thanks should I send these certified?
-
Not with PFD, but Jack Attack method and that was only after settling with them, and EQ updated to Major default date the month I settled. It's stuck on Ex/Tu. They will update the account to make it look like a current co, but won't re-age the actual Tl. I settled my account for the actual card balance (250) minus all the late fees/interest. Maybe a year ago I sent them a offer, for the actual amount i spent, something like 50 dollars, everything else was fees, I could be mistaken but most of the balance was fees, the letter I got back was them telling me they wont contact me again

.........361 here as well that must be there limit, as far as jack attack I don't see any obvious errors on there part

Has anyone had luck getting them off? Was thinking of sending then a pfd for half ammont owed, card was closed 2-3 years ago and was never sent to collections
