I was on a car insurance policy with an ex and he maintained our car insurance. He switched our companies a few months back. I just found a letter from a collection agency stating it was a second attempt to collect. I had no clue this was owed. I know I should have never called, but I did and said I had no clue what this was for and the lady rattled off a bunch of our info and she asked if I was going to pay it and I said I don't even know if it's legit but I can't have it going on my credit and she replied they do not report to credit bureaus and they would only report to the insurance "something". I will pay it in full if I need to in order to keep it off my credit. I'm sure it may be valid but is it a "thing" for car insurance collections to be reported somewhere else other than the big 3?

Yes, I was getting the 0% offer and deferred interest offer mixed up. So this would be a deferred interest deal.

I'm sure this is a very obvious answer, but I just can't find the answer. I don't think I'm searching the correct terms. When you purchase something with a cc and get 24 months 0%, what happens if you purchase something else on that same cc before the original balance is paid? If I buy $2,400 worth of stuff and am paying $100/month and have 6 months left of my offer (so $600 left on balance) and then I purchase something for $150 (so balance of $750), does my next monthly payment $100 go towards the original purchase or the new purchase? Forgive me in advance for asking such an "elementary" question. I've just never understood how 0% offers work if you buy something else.

I never noticed this until now, so I'm not sure if it is new or not, but Sam's Club card is also now giving TU08 just like Amazon and WM

I had a (I think) 4 year old CO from a vehicle repo when I bought my house in 2012. I did not have to pay it off, but I did have to write a letter of explanation about it. My scores were maybe around 630 at the time. -
First statement cut 3/5/16 and I had a limit of $300 Second statement cut 4/5/16 and shows a limit of $1300 Should I still request CLI after the third statement cuts?

On EQ and TU my mortgage is listed properly under real estate/mortgage loans. On EX, it is listed under installment loans. Does this have any bearing on my credit score on EX? How would I go about getting it fixed? Just send EX a simple dispute stating that my mortgage is not listed as a mortgage? Below is an example of how it shows on USAA.
