  1. Ok cool. And btw I wasn't writing to you when I wrote "Read" I was writing to bdk for those rolling eyes. WTH? I can read fine, thank you. And BTW, that was my confused eyes. Now, you get WE, if you could read just fine there would be nothing to be confused about.
  2. Ok cool. And btw I wasn't writing to you when I wrote "Read" I was writing to bdk for those rolling eyes.
  3. Would be nice if my CITI card wasn't already interest free
  4. Mk and I were talking about navy taking the money from my checking not back from the credit card. Read.
  5. Correcting their error would mean getting their money back from my credit card not from my checking account...
  6. Yeah either that or NavCheck should kick in, but can/would they really charge my account for their error?
  7. Ok, I'll call back, ask them to note the account that I didn't make that payment and Iwon't touch the $250. Also just curious how NFCU would get their money back from the company if the payment was electronic. And do you actually think that NFCU sent the payment twice or that CITI credited the one payment twice? (They do have 2 different confirmation numbers)
  8. Hi, I set up a payment through my Navy Federal bill pay for $250 to my CITI Forward credit card. I checked today and CITI credited me two $250's for a total of $500. I called CITI they said, "its not our error call your bank, they sent the money twice". I called NFCU, they said, "we only sent it once and there is nothing else that we can do for you". (Not verbatim) I called CITI back and they said they could have the extra $250 sent back to my account, I'm not sure that I should do that because it's not my money and I don't want it to come back on me later, or will it come back on me later if it was their error? Any advice on what I should do next? Thanks. PS: I really don't like "drama" with my account's :-(
  9. Lol, I can imagine how much apartment management makes in interest with all of the security deposits they hold. When we lived in an apartment, the manager told us our deposit would be held in an account that didn't yeld interest; I've never seen such an account
  10. So the banks get a bunch of very short interest free CD's so to speak??
  11. Yeah but if my employer gives them the money on the 9th, how/why does Navy hold it for 3 days?
  12. I see my deposit at least 3 days early with NFCU. I get paid in the 15th, I saw the pending direct deposit on October 9 and the post date is today the 11th, so I'll have my check tomorrow instead of the 15th
  13. How much is the fee for the $500 cards and where do you get one for $500? I usually only shop at the commissary and I've only seen them for $25, $50 and $100. Activation fees from $4.25 to $5.75 or something like that. PS: Female.
  14. elaborate please. You can buy gift cards for almost anywhere at the grocery store, effectively giving you 6% cash back anywhere you shop. Weren't supposed to do it, but there was no way for them to tell if you were. Are they buying store gift cards and then selling them? If not, don't the gift cards from Visa/MC/ETC. charge a fee for activation? Not the VIsa/MC cards. Basically you could go to the grocery store, not buy any groceries--just, say, a couple of Gap and Applebee's gift cards--and still get 6% cashback on "groceries." OHHH ok I see now. Pretty cool but seems like a lot if unnecessary spending that you(I) wouldn't normally do at Gap, Applebees etc. just to get that 6%
