buy a shelf or aged corp?

For some reason I thought I already posted this. Anyway, does anyone have any experience with buying a shelf corp?

 

I would like to have the instant credit and so forth for business purposes and wonder if this is the way to go?

 

Does anyone know where I can get one for cheap? Thanks.

Expect to pay about $1,000 per year, and you will need at least 2 years to make any sort of difference.

Paying $2,000 for getting at most $25,000 of "vendor" credit sounds like a very expensive proposition to me.

Be careful when buying a aged corp. I bought one that's supposed to be 3 yrs old. It was incorporated in 2001 ---no doubt about that. But guess what---the charter was revoked from 02/2003 thru 05/2004. I did not know about this at all.

 

Now DnB is looking at this as a brand new corp---formed in 2004. So what good is paying $3000 for a 3 yr old corp only to be shot down to a brand new corp??? Worst yet---the DnB file got RED FLAGGED because of that.
