Just got the below email.

This is nice! I hope it's from MyFICO.

Your complimentary credit score is changing to FICO® Score

We're happy to let you know that your complimentary TransRisk score will soon be replaced by a FICO® Score, still at no cost to you.¹ The FICO® Score is the most widely used credit score in the U.S. financial industry.²

Coming soon, you'll get online access to:

Your FICO® Score

bullet.gif A listing of up to the top 2 factors affecting your score

bullet.gif A historical chart showing changes in your score (after 3 months of history)

bullet.gif Alert emails any time your score changes

There's nothing you need to do right now. We'll remind you when your FICO® Score is available. Then, you'll simply visit www.BarclaycardUS.com
and select the "Tools and Education" tab and follow the instructions to
accept the Terms of Use. It's that easy to get the information you
need to understand your credit.

As always, thanks for banking with Barclaycard.

Nice!

Can you list the Barclays cards you're getting this notice on?

I can't say for sure because it isn't active yet. The "Tools and Education" tab is there on all of them, but the option to sign up isn't.

I used to get the TransRisk FAKO from my old Junami card but the button for that vanished when Barclays consolidated all their cards to one website, so I thought the score was gone.

I just discovered this though:

If you log into Barclays, you'll find yourself at <https://www.barclaycardus.com/servicing/account... >

Here you can select from your cards. Pick the one you want to try with.

Now, while you're still logged in, replace the URL with <https://www.barclaycardus.com/servicing/score> (i.e., just replace everything after "servicing/" with "score"). Then reload.

When I select Juniper first, this gives me a recently updated TransRisk FAKO!

I also tried with Priceline Rewards and US Airways cards, and it didn't work with those. :(

So I might guess (with low confidence!) the FICO will be available with a Juniper card, but not with Priceline or US Air cards.

I suppose they'll add an active link when they're ready to provide the FICO. Then we will know. And we will be able to figure out which version it is. :D

I think we should all hope that Barclays will switch from TU to Experian. :D

Yes!!! :good:

Except, of course, for applications. TU is perfectly good for that. :P

The FICO is probably not going to be TU 08.

When I applied for the Barclays Priceline and US Airways cards, they sent me a notice with a TU FICO that was 50 points lower than the one from DCU.

I got the email in regard to the Carnival Mastercard as well.

I used to have the US Airways which had the same benefits, so if that one is still around I'd bet it's valid for that ne too.

The only difference between the US Airways and Carnival sites were that the logos changed.

I have the US Airways card and this is all I see under "Tools and Education".

That's all you see for any of them now. It's not functional yet. They said they will email when it's ready.

I don't have the option for Ameriprise, LLBean, or NFL

I got the same email as OP, and I don't have the option for any of my cards yet either.

The only way I got even the FAKO was through the backdoor method I posted above.

I missed your post above, but I just tried it with both of my cards. No scores. The URL does get redirected to another, which contains the string "transRiskScore" in two places, but alas, no score.

Looks like I need to watch my email. Thanks for the info!!

I just checked mine again and it hasn't updated since September. But it was good for a chuckle!

Here are the reasons my score isn't higher:

1. No Adverse Factor
2. Too few recently opened bank installment accounts
3. Too few active mortgage accounts

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Presumably, if I want to improve my score, I should:

1) miss a payment or something

2) buy a car or something on credit and pay interest, while collecting a lower rate on savings

3) open a few mortgages and pay interest on those too

And these behaviors would predict financial responsibility. :P

Here's mine:

1. No Adverse Factor

2. Revolving account balances are too high in proportion to credit limits

3. Too many bankcard accounts

Our number 1 reasons are pretty funny. Also my util is like under 3% so they're really grasping at straws here.

My "Risk Score" was just updated on 10-16 with no mention of it being changed to a FICO, but I just had my scores pulled by my lender again yesterday and it matches.

Lender TU Fico = 792 and Juniper TU Risk Score = 792 so maybe it is there now, but I think it is just coincidence.

Here are mine:

1. Too many inquiries -(Currently true as I have about 4 recent ones up from zero)
2. Revolving account balances are too high in proportion to credit limits - (Using about 2%)
3. Too many bankcard accounts - (About 9)
4. Too many personal finance accounts (1 Mortgage, 1 Auto with balances. 1 Student Loan Paid Off)

Do all Barclays cards come with a free cs?

Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

Neither of mine do. :(

I think this is a holdover from when some of the cards were Junipers. I missed the famed "junami".

Just to note a quirk: I did get in on "junami" (good times back in '06!). Closed out my Juniper card 2 years later to open a new Barclays card.

Ever since, I still receive occasional emails from Juniper announcing a change in my TU TransRisk score -- no way to see the updated score though through Barclays. (Tried the method noted above and didn't work.)
