If this is the same WEST Building materials that was HQ in atlanta and had stores all over the south east then they went out in the late 90's I know cause I worked at one in High school here in Mississippi and Lowes opened and hired me away and not too long after West was GONE! Seems like forever ago.

Only Spiegel and Newport News have pre-approval without pulling hard.

WOW!!! Nice list!!

I know that Victoria's Secret is iffy with a lot of INQs. Are there any that seem to be easier to get than others from WFNNB?

I remember West being in Orlando and it probably is the same one. The lists contained some stores that were out of business like Service Merchandise but WFNNB probably still hold some accounts.

I confirmed with my mom this morning she still has her West (Prefered card) :) I ask her read off the bank info. and its WFNNB. We used to have a Wickes lumber here too and the big boys (Lowes-HD) ran them away but I know WIckes is still around..I just saw one in Tenneesse recently. NICE list and Thanks!

Oh and service merchandise used to be one of my favorite stores till they clsoed but I read somewhere they are STILL around (www-only) sure enough---- http://www.servicemerchandise.com/ AS WELL AS Montgomery ward (heard Easy apoproval) ---- http://www.wards.com...placeID=6100024

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THEM THEY ARE INQUIRY SENSITIVE EVEN WITH THEMSELVES!!!

I WAS DECLINED FOR TOO MANY RECENT INQ'S. I WAS TOLD TO WAIT 30 DAYS AND APPLY AGAIN. I ASK IF THEY WOULD PULL ANOTHER CREDIT REPORT THEY SAID YES!!! WITH THE EXCEPTION OF NEWPORT AND SPEIGEL'S THEY PULL A HARD FOR EACH CARD EVEN IF YOU APPLY WITHIN THE SAME 5 MIN OF EACH OTHER!!

Yes though some are not WFNNB backed cards anymore like Lane Bryant. When I get a chance I will clean up this list a bit.

I cleaned up the list and removed those businesses that are no longer or moved to another cc company. Also, I tried to remove those currently in bk.

Woodcraft is not associated with WFNNB and the current bank issuing Woodcraft credit cards does NOT charge for a paper statement.
