Husband discovered duck bacon at the grocery store.  It's not bad, a much thicker cut than I like for my bacon, but a good flavor.

I like duck. I'll have to see if any of my local grocery stores have any.

I ordered some ham from The Hamery last night.  Never had it but heard good things about it.

Got some cooked ham that is 9-12 months aged.  Got some dry cured ham that is aged 18+ months like Iberian ham.  And I got some uncooked ham specifically to fry and make red eyed gravy out of the pan drippings.

I shall report back

Yes.  It looks like a big heaping mess of deliciousness.

Maple Bourbon Bacon Jam-  https://www.closetco...-bacon-jam.html

No real need for the actual sandwich recipe, but there are links to other heaps of deliciousness on the page -  https://www.closetco...led-cheese.html

Like the Bacon Avocado Monte Cristo with Jalapeno Jelly - https://www.closetco...led-cheese.html

I haven't had a Monte Cristo for a long time.  Going to have to have them for dinner one night this week.  And use Kings Hawaiian Bread

Tonight for dinner will be pot roast in our new Staub 8-1/2 quart oval dutch oven.

I gotta post pics later. This thing is a beast.

It's only about a 4lb roast. Rest of the space is filled with vegetables. The size of the dutch oven is a bit overkill, but for the price I got it for, couldn't be passed up.

No more than what it is, you should try lifting a Staub 12" square grill pan. I swear mine is made out of lead or something. Lol.

For those of you with celiac disease or other dietary issues with gluten, this popped up in my Facebook feed a couple of weeks ago and it won't go away.

If the food tastes as good as it photographs there may be some interesting ideas on this site.

The pictures are beautiful.  I would go gluten free if someone cooked that food for me.  And, like you said, if it tastes as good as it looks.
