Any Recent Chexsystems Successes?
Posted 24 August 2016 - 12:25 AM
On a frozen chexsystems, I was able to get Security Service Credit Union to approve me for their Power "Merit" Checking, which is used for someone who has problems with chexsystems. I have one chex entry from last year they were unable to see because of the freeze, branch manager just said in cases where they can't pull, it goes to a merit checking, no fees - just no overdraft, unsure if a credit pull was involved.

How old is your Chex information?
Report from last month. Entry was from 3 years ago.

Yes. There are several banks who will ignore a Chexsystems entry if it is over 36 months old.

Thanks for that information. I was wondering why that went through. WF gave me a big denial AFTER accepting my funding. Sheesh.

are you the owner of this website tmc gill. I will create a list of all the banks and credit unions that anybody can join and they don't use anything.
I'm confused. You asked for suggestions several times, then when suggestions were made, you said you had been declined for all of them. Now you are offering to create a list. What gives?

You can post a list if you think it will help others. That's what we do here, help each other.

Are you asking for yourself? Seems like we might be going in circles here. Are you asking for help for yourself? Building a list from the info here? Offering to post a list here? I'm having trouble following.

I couldn't find that online, but I did find rufcu.com - they operate in several cities and are NCUA members, but I don't see anything about PA in the pages I read on their website. Is this the one you mean?
