Sounds like their Federal Information Processing section. Their parent First Data works contractually with the Feds.

ok I found out what it is FIP telecheck.  It is not Federal Info Processing,  FIP is part of TRS (telecheck collections),  not only does telecheck list your bank account with typical telecheck,  but now they also add it to there FIP department with TRS ,  especially if your account is overdrawn.  So now when you try to clear telecheck record its listed in 2 different areas of there company,  so when you go to clear your report make sure you clear it in Telecheck and FIP TRS.  Cause any banks who now use telecheck will deny you if both are not clear.  FIP is speciality department and when you call TRS recovery,  if you have an overdrawn account make sure you ask them if they have anything reported to there FIP department.  Cause let say you file bankruptcy and send your info to telecheck to remove accounts,  they will automatically remove it from telecheck, but not from TRS FIP department
