I would like step by step directions on what to look for & where to buy legit aged or shelf corporations?

 

I want to purchase one and I dont want any blemishes on it.

 

Is there a place I can go to to check the status of the shelf corp before handing over any money?

 

i want to buy a shelf corp for the history, I want to make sure that the corp doesn't have any liens or red flags against it.

 

How do i find this info before purchasing?

well to find the corpporate status with the state you would call or look up that states "secretary of state" usually under busines filings on the web sites. you could see what documents were filed when. Some give directors or officers names and some don't.

 

Then ask for the corporate tax ID and use that to call the state board of taxation and do an inquiry, and also call the irs to see if they have any records. You can also use an online service to help you look for outstanding debt. But in truth you just have to take a little leap of faith. If your that concerned use a larger incorporationg company, but you may pay a premium. Of course that premium may be a wash after you do all of your due diligence fact finding you want to do.
